Dinosaurs! in 2006, having previously released the EP Hellogoodbye in 2004, and DVD OMG HGB DVD ROTFL in 2005. In 2010, the band released Would It Kill You? on their label Wasted Summer Records. The album was released in the United Kingdom and Europe by LAB Records on March 14, 2011. The single has been featured in People Magazine with multiple celebrity weddings using it as the soundtrack for their first dance. Tinted Windows were an American rock supergroup formed by guitarist James Iha of The Smashing Pumpkins, singer Taylor Hanson of Hanson, Adam Schlesinger of Fountains of Wayne and Ivy, and Bun E. Carlos of Cheap Trick. The band issued one album in 2009, and performed live in 2009 and 2010. Josh Lattanzi also often performed with the band as the second guitarist.

Skib has previously co-written songs with former David Cook bandmate Neal Tiemann, who also served as lead guitarist for their band, Midwest Kings (MWK). Additionally, he has co-written songs with artists Zac Maloy, Hanson, Graham Colton, and Jaret Reddick. Skib is also known for his most recent solo project, To Have Heroes. Skib is a member of David Cook's band, The Anthemic, providing rhythm guitar, keyboards and backup vocals. Skib and the rest of The Anthemic worked on Cook's second album for 19/RCA Records. The album, entitled This Loud Morning, was released on June 28, 2011.
