Ashok KumarMalik is an Indian para powerlifter from Haryana who qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris. He won silver medals in the Para Powerlifting World Cup, in Egypt in March 2024 to clinch an Olympic berth for India. [1] [2]

Early life

Ashok is from Haryana.

Career

Ashok won a bronze medal at the 2022 Asian Para Games at Hangzhou, China. He trained under coach J. P. Singh for the Asiad. [3]

He won a gold medal at the Asia Oceania Para Powerlifting Championships 2022 at Pyeongtaek, South Korea in June 2022. [4]

Abdelkareem Mohmmad Ahmad Khattab is a Jordanian Paralympic powerlifter. He won the gold medal in the men's 88 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. He also set a new Paralympic record of 231 kg. A few months later, he won the gold medal in his event at the 2021 World Para Powerlifting Championships held in Tbilisi, Georgia. He also set a new world record of 250 kg.

Ye Jixiong is a Chinese Paralympic powerlifter. He won the silver medal in the men's 88 kg event at the 2020 Summer Paralympics held in Tokyo, Japan. He is also a three-time medalist, including two gold medals, at the World Para Powerlifting Championships.

Paramjeet Kumar is an Indian para power lifter from Punjab. He became the first power lifter from India to win a medal at the World Para Powerlifting Championships. He qualified for the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris.

Sarita Adhana is an Indian paralympic archer. She qualified for the 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris in the women's Individual compound event of Archery competitions.

Rongali Ravi is an Indian para athlete from Andhra Pradesh. He competes in the shot put F40 category. He qualified to represent India at the 2024 Summer Paralympics at Paris.
