Askil Holm (born 1 June 1980) is a Norwegian singer and musician from Namsos.

In 2006, he was a part of the big success when he played together with Espen Lind, Alejandro Fuentes and Kurt Nilsen. Their record Hallelujah Live sold 260,000 copies in Norway. [1]

Holm has also seen success by performing at the famous "Jam Sessions" in Kristiansand, Norway.

Bjarte Ludvigsen, a.k.a. Blue, is a record producer from Bergen, Norway. He started out as a drummer for the Norwegian-Grammy Award winning band Poor Rich Ones. In 1997, after working as a session musician for several years and as an assistant engineer at Sigma Audio, Bjarte started Tinnitus Recording together with Christer Hjelmeland. After helping several acts rise to the ranks and signing with major companies, the studio got popular with more established Norwegian artists.

Idol: Jakten på en superstjerne 2005 was the third season of Idol Norway based on the British singing competition Pop Idol. It premiered one year after the second season and was aired in the first half of 2005.
Ingrid Gjessing was replaced by Kåre Magnus Bergh and with Jan Fredrik Karlsen's departure the entire judging panel was changed with Tone-Lise Skagefoss becoming the new jury foreperson.
It was also the first time that two girls faced off each other in the final 2 showdown making Jorun Stiansen the first female winner over Tone Damli Aaberge. Aaberge would attempt to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2009 where she ended up being the runner-up, this time to Alexander Rybak who later went on to win the contest.
Ironically Rybak has also been a contestant on Idol 2005 and in the same semifinal group as Aaberge. However while Aaberge went on winning her group, Rybak did not even manage to reach the top 5 and therefore missed out a spot in the group of final 12. Second runner-up Alejandro Fuentes was able to top VG-lista three times between 2005 and 2007. One if these no. 1 Hits was a collaboration with Askil Holm, Espen Lind and Kurt Nilsen. The quartet also went on tour under the name The New Guitar Buddies.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Hans Peter Holm</span>

Hans Peter Holm was a Danish naval officer who commanded vessels of the Dano-Norwegian Navy in several actions. He commanded several naval vessels during the Gunboat War. His most important action occurred in 1812 at the Battle of Lyngør when a British squadron, led by the British ship-of-the-line HMS Dictator, destroyed his vessel, HDMS Najaden. Holm sustained wounds in the battle but survived, only to drown in an accident shortly afterwards.
