Asset World Corp Public Company Limited, branded as Asset World Corporation or AWC, is a Thai real estate company majority-owned by billionaire Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi and his TCC Group. The company was founded in 2009 as First Destination Co., Ltd., and ws renamed in 2016 and listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand in 2019. Led by CEO Wallapa Traisorat, who is Charoen's daughter, its business is focused on hospitality and retail property development, and includes multiple hotels operated by international chain brands as well as well-known properties such as Asiatique and Empire Tower. The company is pursuing major urban re-development projects in the Woeng Nakhon Khasem area of Bangkok's Chinatown, in Pattaya, and at Asiatique. [1] [2]

Asiatique: The Riverfront is a large open-air mall in Bangkok, Thailand. It occupies the former docks of the East Asiatic Company, and faces the Chao Phraya River and Charoen Krung Road. The complex opened in 2012 after extensive renovation of the site.
The old Customs House is a historic building in Bangkok, located on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River in Bang Rak District. It was built in 1888 as one of the many Western-style buildings commissioned by King Chulalongkorn, and was designed by Joachim Grassi in the neo-Palladian style. The East Asiatic Building is a historic building in Bangkok's Bang Rak District. It sits on the eastern bank of the Chao Phraya River, opposite the Oriental Hotel on Soi Charoen Krung 40 and adjacent to the Catholic Mission and Assumption Cathedral. The building was built c. 1900 in Renaissance Revival style to designs by Annibale Rigotti, and served as the headquarters of the East Asiatic Company (Thailand) until 1995, receiving the ASA Architectural Conservation Award in 1984. In 2023, Asset World Corporation announced plans to renovate the building into a hotel under the Plaza Athénée brand, in partnership with Nobu Hospitality.
