Overview

The series stars prolific B-movie actor Bill Williams and Diane Mountford. Williams played Bill Greer, the skipper aboard a charter boat named The Lively Lady. Mountford played his daughter, Patty. [1]

The series was written and produced by Frank De Felitta for Liberty Enterprises and National Telefilm Associates.[ citation needed ]

Peter Dyneley was an English actor. Although he appeared in many smaller roles in both film and television, he is best remembered for supplying the voice of Jeff Tracy for the 1960s "Supermarionation" TV series Thunderbirds and its two film sequels, Thunderbirds Are Go (1966) and Thunderbird 6 (1968), all produced by Gerry Anderson. Uncredited, Dyneley also provided the voice of the countdown that introduces the Thunderbirds title sequence.

A Man Called Sloane is an American secret agent adventure television series that aired on NBC during the 1979–1980 television season. It was a Woodruff Production in association with QM Productions and became the final series produced by Quinn Martin's company to debut. A Man Called Sloane was an amalgam of elements from numerous spy series of the previous 15 years, including The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, and Conrad's own The Wild Wild West. One of the more expensive series produced during the season, it failed to gain an audience and was cancelled after 12 episodes were broadcast. It is also one of only three QM series not to have an announcer accompanying the opening titles, one of two not to display a copyright notice at the beginning but rather at the end, and the only one not to have a "Tonight's Episode" card or the "Act I/II/III/IV/Epilog" formatting — the episode titles still appear onscreen, but they appear as part of the episode credits rather than during the standard opening.

The NTA Film Network was an early American television network founded by Ely Landau in 1956 that operated on a part-time basis, broadcasting films and several first-run television programs from major Hollywood studios. Despite attracting more than 100 affiliate stations and securing the financial support of Twentieth Century-Fox, the network proved unprofitable and was discontinued by 1961. The NTA Film Network's flagship station WNTA-TV is now WNET, one of the flagship stations of the Public Broadcasting Service.

Operation Neptune is an American science-fiction TV series that aired Sundays at 7:00 ET between June 28, 1953, and August 1953 on NBC Television. The show follows the adventures of a submarine captain named Commander Bill Hollister, otherwise known as 'Captain Neptune' as he battles undersea forces. The show was written by M. C. Brock and directed by Leonard Valenta. Operation Neptune is considered a kids' program, often compared to the more popular Captain Video.
