Astana City ( UCI team code:TSE) was a professional road bicycle racing team sponsored by the Samruk-Kazyna, a coalition of state-owned companies from Kazakhstan and named after its capital city Astana. Astana City acted as a junior feeder team to XDS Astana Team, alongside Vino 4ever SKO. [1] The team disbanded at the end of the 2019 season.
During the 2014 season three riders, Ilya Davidenok, Victor Okishev and Artur Fedosseyev tested positive for anabolic androgenic steroids. Davidenok tested positive at the Tour de l'Avenir, Okishev tested positive at the Asian Cycling Championships while Fedosseyev tested positive at Tour de l'Ain. The riders were provisionally suspended awaiting doping hearings. [2] [3] [4] The next day Alexander Vinokourov, head of XDS Astana Team, was reported to have suspended the entire continental team. [5]
In 2015 the team changed name to Seven Rivers Cycling Team. [6] Six of the ten riders had previously ridden for the Continental Team Astana. [7]
In 2016, the team changed name to Astana City and retained eight riders from Seven Rivers. [8]

XDS Astana Team is a professional road bicycle racing team sponsored by the Samruk-Kazyna, a coalition of state-owned companies from Kazakhstan and named after its capital city Astana. Astana attained UCI ProTeam status in its inaugural year, 2007. Following a major doping scandal involving Kazakh rider Alexander Vinokourov, team management was terminated and new management brought in for the 2008 season. The team was then managed by Johan Bruyneel, former team manager of U.S. Postal/Discovery Channel team. Under Bruyneel the ethical nature of the team did not improve, although Astana in this period was very successful.
Alexander Nikolayevich Vinokourov is a Kazakhstani former professional road bicycle racer and the current general manager of UCI WorldTeam XDS Astana Team. He is of Russian origin. As a competitor, his achievements include two bronze medals at the World Championships, four stage wins in the Tour de France, four in the Vuelta a España plus the overall title in 2006, two Liège–Bastogne–Liège monuments, one Amstel Gold Race, and the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics Men's Road Race. Vinokourov is a past national champion of Kazakhstan, and a dual-medalist at the Summer Olympics. In 2007, he received a two-year ban from cycling for blood doping. In 2019, he was accused of race fixing by prosecutors in Liège but was later cleared of the charges.
ONCE cycling team, also known as Liberty Seguros, Liberty Seguros–Würth and in succession in its final year, Astana–Würth and Astana was a Spanish cycling team. It competed in the UCI ProTour circuit.

CCC Development Team is a UCI Continental cycling team based in Poland. Formerly CCC-Mat, the team became known as CCC-Polsat in 2002. In 2004 and 2005, the team was known as Hoop CCC-Polsat, reverting to CCC-Polsat in 2006. From 2007 to 2011, the team was known as CCC-Polsat-Polkowice (abbreviated to CCC-Polsat), and team kit colours are orange and black.
