The Atlantic Coast League was a high school athletic conference in District C of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association. [1]
At one point, the ACL had 10 member schools. During the mid-1990s, Hingham, Scituate, and Randolph all left the ACL for the newly formed Patriot League. In 1999, Marshfield left the ACL for the Old Colony League, but re-joined the ACL in 2006. In 2008, Quincy, North Quincy, and Whitman-Hanson all departed the ACL for the Patriot League. In 2015, Plymouth North and Plymouth South, longtime members of the ACL, also departed for the Patriot League.

The Old Colony Library Network (OCLN) is a consortium of 28 member libraries located on the South Shore of Massachusetts in the United States. OCLN membership includes 26 town and city libraries and two academic libraries. OCLN's cooperative approach enables member libraries to provide services that they would not be able to afford separately. OCLN was founded in 1984 and is incorporated in Massachusetts as a 501(c)(3) corporation. OCLN is recognized as a charitable organization by the Massachusetts Attorney General's office.

Plymouth North High School, formerly known as Plymouth-Carver Regional High School, and known informally as Plymouth North or PNHS, is a public high school located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. Its students are residents of the town of Plymouth. The school is one of two high schools in Plymouth, the other being Plymouth South High School. Plymouth North is located south of Plymouth Center, and is located adjacent to the Plymouth County Courthouse, the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds, and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital. The school colors are Blue, White & Silver and the school mascot is an Eagle. Plymouth North opened under the name Plymouth High School, but changed its name to Plymouth-Carver Regional High School when Carver joined the district in 1963. With the opening of Carver High School in 1987, it was renamed Plymouth North High School. It serves over 1300 students in grades 9-12 from the North, West, and Central neighborhoods of Plymouth. Plymouth North features a full range of academic courses as well as state-of-the-art vocational technical programs in Marketing, Allied Health, Engineering, and Facilities Management. Plymouth North High School is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. In June 2021, Plymouth North High School was placed into a state program for schools or districts that disproportionately suspend nonwhite students or students with disabilities.
Plymouth South High School, also known as Plymouth South, or PSHS, is a public high school located in Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. Its students are residents of the town of Plymouth. Plymouth South is one of two high schools in Plymouth, the other being Plymouth North High School. Plymouth South is located near the Long Pond neighborhood of Plymouth, west of Route 3 and The Pinehills development, and also adjacent to nearby Myles Standish State Forest, which is the biggest publicly owned recreation area in the South Shore region of Massachusetts, and also one of the biggest in the state. The school colors are Black, Teal and White and the school's teams are the Panthers.
Mariner Group, based in Marshfield, Massachusetts, United States, was a chain of weekly newspapers in the suburban South Shore near Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Founded in 1972 with one paper, the Marshfield Mariner, the group was sold in 1989 to Capital Cities/ABC and again in 1995 to Fidelity Investments, which dissolved it into Community Newspaper Company a few months later.
