Attar Singh Saini is one of the most well-known cinematographers, in the Indian film Industry has produced. His lighting is lyrical and every composition tells a tale of emotions. He is a graduate of the Film & TV Institute of India, Pune (1992 batch), which is one of the premier film Schools of Asia. He is an active member of the Western Indian Cinematographer Association (WICA) and Cinematographers Combine (CC). He is based in Mumbai and married to Geetanjali Saini, who is a true inspiration and pillar of support. Saini has been working in India's Film and TV Industry for the last more than two decades. In the first half of his career, he worked for numerous television series for channels such as Star Plus, Sony Entertainment Television, Zee TV, etc. The industry widely appreciated his television work profile and he received the ITA award in 2003 for the best cinematography of the television series ‘Kashmeer’ for the channel Star Plus. Post 2003, Attar Singh Saini took a big leap in his career and started his first feature film 7-1/2 Phere. Dhanak (transl. Rainbow) is a 2015 Indian Hindi-language children's road film written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor. Produced by Manish Mundra, Nagesh Kukunoor, and Elahe Hiptoola, the film features Hetal Gada and Krrish Chhabria as the two children, playing brother and sister, in the leading roles, with supporting performances from Chet Dixon, Vipin Sharma, Gulfam Khan, Vibha Chibber, Flora Saini, and Vijay Maurya. Shehnad Jalal born 28 June 1978, is a cinematographer based in Kerala, India. After completing his Post Graduation in Commerce from the Kerala University, in 2002, he joined the Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI), Kolkata for Post Graduate Diploma in Cinematography. After graduating in 2006, he started his career as an assistant to the renowned Cinematographer Venu and went on to work with him in several feature films, documentaries and television commercials. Shehnad Jalal made his debut as a Cinematographer in the film Chitrasutram, directed by Vipin Vijay. The film won him the Kerala State Film Award for Best Cinematography in the year 2010. The documentary, A Pestering Journey directed by K R Manoj won him the Navaroze Contractor Award for the Best Documentary Cameraman at the 4th International Documentary and Short Film Festival of Kerala, 2011., He won a nomination for Achievement in Cinematography at the Asia Pacific Screen Awards 2017, for his work in the movie Loktak Lairembee (Lady of the Lake) in the Meitei language, directed by Haobam Paban Kumar. The film had its world premiere at the Busan International Film Festival 2016 in the New Currents and was selected for the Berlinale FORUM 2017.
