Bluevale Collegiate Institute is a secondary school in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, run by the Waterloo Region District School Board. As of the 2019–2020 school year, Bluevale has an enrollment of 1,240 students. The school opened in 1972 under the direction of principal Robert Chilton, and vice-principal Charlie Wilson, initially with grades 9 through 11, adding grades 12, and then 13 in subsequent years. Bluevale's new school boundary took in students previously registered at Cameron Heights Collegiate Institute, Kitchener–Waterloo Collegiate, and Waterloo Collegiate Institute. It is part of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board and was first opened in 1976. The school was named after A. Y. Jackson, the famed Canadian painter and one of the founders of the Group of Seven. The majority of students come from W.O. Mitchell Elementary School, Glen Cairn Public School, and Katimavik Elementary School, its four associate schools.

Located just east of Dollarton Highway, the school has a student population of approximately 500 students in grades 8 through 12. Seycove is part of the SD44 program called a family of schools (FOS). Seycove acts as the family school for the Elementary schools considered the feeder schools including Dorothy Lynas, Cove Cliff, and Sherwood Park. On June 3, 2022, the Tsleli-Waututh first nation gifted the school the name "Seycove at sə́yəmətən", meaning "place of good water". The name was chosen as it was the name of the original Indigenous village on which the school resides.

Halifax West High School is a Canadian public high school located in the Lacewood neighbourhood in the Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia. Encompassing grades 10 through 12, Halifax West High School offers a variety of courses in both French and English as well as International Baccalaureate (IB) diplomas for its enrollment of 1550 students as of September 2015. Halifax West has four feeder schools: Fairview Junior High, Clayton Park Junior High, Park West School, and Brookside Junior High. It is also home to the Bella Rose Arts Centre. Halifax West also hosted The Canadian Student Leadership Conference in September 2015, an event that drew hundreds of student participants from across Canada. The Halifax West High School was opened in the year 1958 and was closed the year 2000, it was reopened in 2003.

The school was founded by the Holy Cross Fathers, a group of Roman Catholic priests who also founded the University of Notre Dame. In the early years of the establishment, tuition was levied to students attending the school; however, the institution is now completely publicly funded. Notre Dame is currently the largest secondary school in the Niagara Region, with 1243 students. All NCDSB elementary schools in the Welland and Pelham areas are considered to be feeder schools to Notre Dame.
