Auf Ewig is a 2007 "best of" album by Joachim Witt. Also inside, is a bonus DVD containing music videos and interviews. Two new songs were made for this album, "Unsere Welt" and "Weh-Oh-Weh". The remainder of the album was remastered with some remixes.

Symphony No. 8 (Penderecki) Symphony by Krzysztof Penderecki

The Symphony No. 8 "Lieder der Vergänglichkeit" by Krzysztof Penderecki is a choral symphony in twelve relatively short movements set to 19th and early 20th-century German poems. The work was completed and premiered in 2005. The symphony has an approximate duration of 35 minutes. Penderecki revised the symphony in 2007 by adding a few more poem settings and the piece has expanded to around 50 minutes. Although given the designation Symphony No. 8, it was not actually the final symphony Penderecki completed before his death in March 2020; the Sixth Symphony, begun in 2008, was not completed until 2017.

Oomph! discography

The discography of Oomph!, a German rock band, often considered to be the original Neue Deutsche Härte musical group, consists of thirteen studio albums and one video album. Oomph! has also released twenty-three singles. The band was formed in mid-1989 by three musicians from Wolfsburg: singer/drummer Dero Goi, guitarist/programmer Andreas Crap and guitarist/bassist/programmer Robert Flux.

The 66 Chorale improvisations for organ, Op. 65, were composed by Sigfrid Karg-Elert between 1906 and 1908, and first published in six volumes in 1909. The composition was dedicated to "the great organist Alexandre Guilmant".

Von guten Mächten

"Von guten Mächten" is a Christian poem which Dietrich Bonhoeffer wrote in 1944 when he was in Finkenberg Konzentrationslager because of his resistance to the Nazis. It is his last theological text before he was executed on 9 April 1945. It became a frequently sung hymn, with different melodies, which has appeared in current German hymnals. The incipit is Von guten Mächten treu und still umgeben. The seventh and last stanza, Von guten Mächten wunderbar geborgen, has been used as a refrain in a popular version.

Klaus Wallrath

Klaus Wallrath is a German church musician and composer. He has been responsible for church music at the Basilika St. Margareta in Düsseldorf-Gerresheim from 1987. He has composed especially song motets (Liedmotetten) on Christian hymns, and musicals on Biblical topics for children's choirs. Compositions have been commissioned for the Cologne Cathedral and the Katholikentag.
