Auletta is an indie rock band from Mainz, Germany. The band named itself after the town Auletta in Italy, where they went on holiday in 2006. [1] [2]
The band was founded in 2005. [3] In 2007 the band got their break by performing at the Emergenza European festival [4] and later that same year they won the 'Rockbuster' competition. [5] The following year, they appeared with Art Brut and Kilians. [6] At the end of 2008, Auletta signed a record deal with EMI. [7] On 26 June 2009, the band released their first album "Pöbelei & Poesie" (literally translated as Vulgarity and poetry). "Meine Stadt" (My Town), one of the songs on the album, was included in EA Sports video game, FIFA 10 . On 1 October 2010, the band represented Rheinland-Pfalz at the Bundesvision Song Contest 2010 and finished 14th place out of 16 performing "Sommerdiebe" (Summer thieves). [8]

No Angels are an all-female pop group from Germany, formed in 2000. Originally a quintet, consisting of band members Nadja Benaissa, Lucy Diakovska, Sandy Mölling, Vanessa Petruo, and Jessica Wahls, they originated on the debut season of the German adaptation of the talent series Popstars and were one of the first television-cast acts to achieve sustainable success throughout Central Europe in the early 2000s. Following a major success with record-breaking single "Daylight in Your Eyes" and debut album Elle'ments in 2001, a series of hit records established their position as one of the most successful female band vocalists to emerge in the early decade. With four number-one hits, four number-one albums and record sales of more than 5.0 million, they became one of the most successful acts in German music history, winning three ECHOs, a World Music Award, a NRJ Music Award, two Comets, a Bambi and a Goldene Kamera.
Klee is a German pop band from Cologne. Named after German painter Paul Klee, the band was formed in 2002 by singer Suzie Kerstgens and musicians Sten Servaes and Tom Deininger. Klee's brand of pop music incorporates electronic as well as acoustic sounds and, in more recent years, the band has embraced chanson and schlager. Four of Klee's albums have entered the top 30 of the German albums chart.

It achieved major success throughout Central Europe, selling more than a 600,000 copies combined and produced two singles, including number-one breakthrough hit "Shame" and "Even Heaven Cries".
Nadja Benaissa is a German singer and television personality. She rose to fame in late 2000 when she auditioned for the German adaption of the reality television show Popstars and became a member of the girl group No Angels, one of the best-selling girl groups of European origin of all time. During their hiatus, Benaissa released her solo album, Schritt für Schritt (2007), which produced the single "Ich hab dich", and represented Hesse in the Bundesvision Song Contest 2006 with the song, finishing in fourth place.

Consisting of Oliver Gottwald, Michael Schmidt and Ingolf Nössner (drums), the band produced guitar pop with electronic sounds, these being more prominent in earlier recordings. Anajo's debut album was released in 2004 and the band went on to record three further albums, the most commercially successful reaching No. 51 in the German charts.

Ins Offene Messer is the debut album by German pop-punk band Jennifer Rostock. It was released on 15 February 2008 and produced by Werner Krumme and Christian Bader. The album's lead single, "Kopf Oder Zahl?", was released on 1 February 2008. The song was participating in the Bundesvision Song Contest and reached the fifth place. The album was re-released under the name Ins Offene Messer – Jetzt Noch Besser on 28 November 2008.
