Aurora Cerilles (born Aurora Cavan Enerio on September 17,1949) is a Filipino politician. She was a former representative of the second (2nd) legislative district of the Province of Zamboanga del Sur to the House of Representatives of the Philippines. She is the spouse of Antonio Cerilles,governor of Zamboanga del Sur from 2010 to 2019. She switched positions with her husband and ran for governor during the 2019 elections,but lost by almost 100,000 votes to former representative Victor Yu of PDP Laban.
She was born on September 17,1949,to former representative Canuto M.S. Enerio and former vice governor Vicenta C. Enerio.
She graduated from University of the East with a BS in business administration. [1]
Zamboanga was a province of the Philippines located in the western region of the southern island of Mindanao,Philippines.

It is in the eastern part of the province of Zamboanga del Sur,and has an area of 21,685 hectares. The name "Molave" refers to the tree that was common in the area. Its economy is focused on agricultural production,and 1,378.5 hectares of fertile land is irrigated and planted with rice. Corn,coconut,cassava,banana,camote and various vegetables are also grown. These are marketed to neighboring towns and cities,and reach Cebu. Due to its strategic location,Molave is becoming the commercial hub of the Salug Valley. It is the most populous municipality in Zamboanga del Sur,and the third most populous in Region IX.
Vincenzo A. Sagun,officially the Municipality of Vincenzo A. Sagun,is a 5th class municipality in the province of Zamboanga del Sur,Philippines. According to the 2020 census,it has a population of 24,852 people.
The legislative district of Zamboanga was the representation of the historical province of Zamboanga in the various national legislatures of the Philippines until 1953. The undivided province's representation encompassed the present-day provinces of Basilan,Zamboanga del Norte,Zamboanga del Sur and Zamboanga Sibugay,and the highly urbanized city of Zamboanga.

Victor Jo Yu is a Filipino politician who currently serves as Governor of Zamboanga del Sur. He previously served as the representative of the first district of Zamboanga del Sur in the 14th,15th and 16th Congress of the Philippines. He signed the House Resolution 1109 calling for a constituent assembly to amend the Constitution.
