Aurora Kapo (born 17 November 2000) is an Albanian singer. Kapo has represented Albania in international singing competitions. [1]

Early life

She started her career at age 6. Kapo took place in the largest Albanian kids talent show called "Gjeniu i Vogel" on the Albanian channel "Tv Klan". Kapo went to the "Gjeniu i Vogel" Finals and won the most popular participant and also the most viewed and liked participant on Facebook and YouTube.[ citation needed ]

Kapo began her career in Durrës, Albania, where she was raised. In 2008 she was selected to represent Albania in the Rožaje Zlatna pahulja festival, a competition involving more than 25 countries. She was the first Albanian to win first place. [2] Kapo continued singing in other competitions such as Kripemjaltezat in 2009, where she won Best Interpreter. She competed at the Perform-Fest 2009 competition, winning first place. She represented Albania in the Macedonian Festival. She also represented Italy in the IFLC (International Festival of Language and Culture) with the song "Felicita".[ citation needed ]. In 2012 she tried to represent Albania in Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2012 with the song: "Blue Jeans", but she didn't win.

Kapo was selected to represent Albania in Bala Türkvizyon Song Contest 2015, in Turkey. She sang "Kercej Me Yjet" which is Albanian for "Dancing With The Stars" and is "Yildizlarla Dans" in Turkish. Thirteen countries competed and Albania achieved 7th place. [3] [4]

Kapo has released two albums so far. She wrote and performed all of the songs on these albums. The albums are called Ditelindja e Diellit and I'm a Show Girl. Kapo's music is most popular among children.[ citation needed ]

Arilena Ara Albanian singer and songwriter (born 1998)

Arilena Ara, also known mononymously as Arilena, is an Albanian singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Shkodër, Arilena achieved national recognition in the Albanian-speaking world when she won the second season of the X Factor Albania in 2013. Her success continued with the participation in the 18th edition of Kënga Magjike finishing in the third place with the song "Nëntori". Due to the success, she rose to recognition in Romania, Russia and Eastern Europe, and peaked at number-one in the Romanian Airplay chart. In 2019, after winning the 58th edition of Festivali i Këngës, she was scheduled to represent Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 before the contest's cancellation.

Albania in the Turkvision Song Contest

Albania has participated in the Turkvision Song Contest twice since their debut in the 2014 contest in Kazan, Tatarstan, Russia. Radio Televizioni Shqiptar (RTSH) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants since their debut in 2014. Xhoi Bejko was the first representative for Albania at the Turkvision Song Contest 2014 with the song "Hava ve Ates", which failed to qualify from the semi-finals, finishing in nineteenth place and achieving 154 points. Albania continued to participate in the contest, and sent Xhoi Bejko and Visar Rexhepi as their representatives in the Turkvision Song Contest 2015, with the song "Adi Hasret", which finished in eighth place, receiving the same total of points as in their previous participation.

Turkvision Song Contest 2015 3rd Turkvision Song Contest

The Turkvision Song Contest 2015 was the third edition of the Turkvision Song Contest, which took place in Istanbul, Turkey; and organised by Turkish Music Box Television (TMB). A total of twenty-one Turkic regions, which have either a large Turkic population or a widely spoken Turkic language, participated in the contest, as well as one Turkic ethnic groups who do not have a defined region. There was no semi-final this year, whilst the final took place on 19 December 2015.

Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 was the first edition of the Bala Turkvision Song Contest. It was initially scheduled to take place in Mary, Turkmenistan, however, it was moved to Istanbul, Turkey. The contest is the junior equivalent of the Turkvision Song Contest; similar to the Junior Eurovision Song Contest being the younger equivalent of the Eurovision Song Contest.

The participation of Kazakhstan in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest first began in Istanbul, Turkey, at the inaugural Bala Turkvision Song Contest in 2015. Adam Media Group (AMG) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Tursynkhan Yerkin was the first representative for Kazakhstan at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Samğa", which finished in second place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of one-hundred and thirteen points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Kazakhstan have awarded the most points to Albania, Găgăuzia, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine. They have received the most points from Albania, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Găgăuzia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Turkey, and Ukraine. Kazakhstan will be hosting the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2017 at the Saryarka Velodrome, in Astana.

The participation of Kyrgyzstan in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest first began in Istanbul, Turkey, at the inaugural Bala Turkvision Song Contest in 2015. Kyrgyz Television (KTRK) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Aydin Nurdinov was the first representative for Kyrgyzstan at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Kyrgyz Biy", which finished in fourth place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of one-hundred and eleven points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Kyrgyzstan have awarded the most points to Găgăuzia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. They have received the most points from Albania, Belarus, Găgăuzia, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine.

Odessa ODTRK (OODTRK) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Albina Kazanzhi was the first representative for Ukraine at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Dostluk", which finished in fifth place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of one-hundred and five points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Ukraine have awarded the most points to Azerbaijan, Gagauzia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan. They have received the most points from Găgăuzia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan.

The participation of Turkey in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest first began in Istanbul, Turkey, at the inaugural Bala Turkvision Song Contest in 2015. Türk Müzik Birliği Television have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Cumhuriyet Grubu was the first representative for Turkey at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Hayat bayram olsa", which finished in ninth place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of ninety-five points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Turkey have awarded the most points to Kazakhstan, and have received the most points from Macedonia. Turkey hosted the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 on 15 December 2015 at the Yeditepe University. They were scheduled to host the 2016 edition, but the contest was cancelled due to the December 2016 Istanbul bombings.

Şaban Memmedov was the first representative for Kosovo at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Seninle Bagli Arzular", which finished in third place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of one-hundred and twelve points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Georgia have awarded the most points to Azerbaijan, Belarus, Găgăuzia, Iran, Kazakhstan, and Ukraine. Radio Television of Kosovo (RTK) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Ela Kazaz was the first representative for Kosovo at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Yeni Yil", which finished in tenth place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of ninety-three points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Kosovo have awarded the most points to Georgia, and Macedonia. They have received the most points from Albania, and Macedonia. Kosovo participated in this competition for Serbia.

Gagauzia in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest

The participation of Gagauzia in the Bala Turkvision Song Contest first began in Istanbul, Turkey, at the inaugural Bala Turkvision Song Contest in 2015. Gagauz Radio Television (GRT) have been responsible for the selection process of their participants, since their debut in 2015. Yana Sergeyevna was the first representative for Găgăuz at the Bala Turkvision Song Contest 2015 with the song "Ey Oglan", which finished in eighth place out of thirteen participating entries, achieving a score of ninety-eight points. As of Bala Turkvision 2015, Gagauzia have awarded the most points to Albania, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine. They have received the most points from Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Ukraine.
