Aussie Barbecue Heroes (also known as Aussie BBQ Heroes) is an Australian reality competition television series on the Seven Network. The series features nine teams competing in a series of barbecue cooking challenges for A$100,000 worth of prizes. [1] [2] The series is hosted by television chef Ben O'Donoghue, who also acts as a judge alongside former My Kitchen Rules contestant Robert Murphy and Australasian Barbecue Alliance co-founder Jess Pryles.

Broadcast

The series premiered on 18 November 2015 [3] and continued to air through the summer non-ratings period on the Seven Network. [2] From the fourth episode, the series moved from Wednesday nights to Tuesdays. [4]

Who Do You Think You Are? is an Australian television documentary reality genealogy series, part of the international franchise and an adaptation of the original British series on BBC of the same name, airing on SBS. SBS first aired six episodes of the BBC series in late 2007, followed by six Australian episodes beginning 13 January 2008 and then six more from the original BBC version. Each episode profiles a celebrity tracing their family tree and is narrated by Richard Mellick.

The Hotplate was an Australian cooking reality television series which aired on the Nine Network on 28 July 2015. Jess Pryles is a US-based Australian chef, television show host of Aussie Barbecue Heroes, meat expert and a live fire cook. She co-founded the Australasian Barbecue Alliance. She is also the author of the book Hardcore Carnivore. She was born in Melbourne, Australia and now lives in Austin, Texas.

The Cube is an Australian television game show competition based on the British series of the same name that premiered on Network Ten on 24 February 2021. It is hosted by comedian Andy Lee.

The eighth season of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here was commissioned by Network 10 in February 2021. It launched on 3 January 2022 and is hosted by Julia Morris and Chris Brown. It is the second series to be pre-recorded in Australia, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was filmed in Dungay, Australia, where the original British series previously filmed, instead of its usual production location in South Africa. Filming occurred over three weeks in September 2021, with a live grand-finale airing on 30 January 2022.
