Autogram (English: Autograph) is the sixteenth studio album by Serbian pop-folk singer Ceca. It was released on 25 June 2016, [1] around three years after the release of her previous album.

Contents

In late 2015, Ceca announced that she was working on a new studio album. At the beginning of 2016, she indicated that it was likely to be released in June. On June 19, she revealed the album's title and track listing. The following day, she shared the album's cover art and a commercial, which included a snippet of the song "Didule," and announced the album's release date as June 25. Shortly thereafter, the Serbian website Puls Online published a banner for the album that played a snippet of the song "Trepni" when users placed their mouse over it. Two other songs from the album, "Autogram" and "Cigani," premiered on Serbian radio on June 24. All the songs on the album had lyric videos uploaded to Ceca's YouTube channel on the night of June 24.

Writing and composition

The album "Autogram" was recorded between 2015 and 2016, following Aleksandar Milić's departure after 20 years of collaboration with Ceca. Despite this, several individuals who had previously worked with Ceca, including Damir Handanović, Ljiljana Jorgovanović, and Marina Tucaković, wrote and produced several songs on the album. Additionally, Anastasija Ražnatović, Ceca's daughter, contributed backing vocals to the recording. The lyrics of the songs on "Autogram" cover themes such as infidelity, women's perspectives, and the pain and suffering that often come with love.

Several talented individuals contributed to the album, including collaborators, co-producers, and mixing engineers Mirko Gavrić, Damir Handanović, Senad Bislimi, and Marko Cvetković. The songs were mixed by multiple engineers, resulting in the album gaining a reputation for exceptional sound quality. The high number of views on streaming platforms like YouTube is a testament to the tremendous success of the album "Autogram" in terms of viewership.
