Avi & Celia are an Americana duo from Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Avi & Celia met at The University of Vermont their first week of first year in 2003. They began performing as a duo in Burlington, Vermont and quickly gained a fan base in the Northeast. In 2007 they released their debut EP Off The Floor. Following the CD release and their graduation from UVM they moved to Boston, Massachusetts to continue a professional career in music. In 2008 they released their second full-length record Let it Rise. Their second record was recorded at WERS studios, the renowned radio station at Emerson College.
Avi & Celia are known for their high-energy performances. The Boston Globe calls it, "Sexy roots swagger with populist fire." They have played over 400 shows throughout the United States and Canada, building a loyal fan base, and have received praise from Yankee Magazine , the Boston Globe , and NHPR .
As a duo they have played several high-profile concerts supporting prominent acts such as Taj Mahal, Leon Russell, and Big Brother and the Holding Company. They have also performed at festivals and venues such as the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, The Iron Horse, Champlain Valley Folk Festival, Club Passim, Festival Mémoire et Racines in Joliette, Quebec, The Paradise, Higher Ground, and Great Waters Music Festival.
Avi Salloway and Celia Woodsmith started in 2009 performing in the Northeast with their new band Hey Mama, a quartet featuring Paul Chase on bass and Jared Seabrook on drums, for two years before disbanding and moving on to new projects. Celia is currently a vocalist for the popular bluegrass quintet Della Mae.
Michael Eliot Gordon is an American bass guitarist and vocalist most recognized as a founding member of the band Phish. In addition to bass, Gordon also plays banjo, piano, and guitar. He is also a filmmaker and author. He has released six solo studio albums and three studio albums with acoustic guitar pioneer Leo Kottke.
Tanya Donelly is an American singer-songwriter and guitarist based in New England. She came to prominence as a co-founder of the band Throwing Muses with her step-sister Kristin Hersh. Donelly went on to co-form the alternative rock band The Breeders alongside Kim Deal in 1989, before leaving to front her own band Belly in 1991. By the late 1990s, she settled into a solo recording career, working largely with musicians connected to the Boston music scene.

Live is the first live album by English acoustic roots duo Show of Hands. After the duo had recorded three studio albums on cassette from 1987–1991, the last of these being Out for the Count, the duo set on recording a live album for their first Compact Disc release. They enlisted Mark Trim to engineer and produce a live album of the duo's performance at The Bull Hotel, Bridport, in the duo's native Devon. The album features all sixteen songs from the performance which featured numerous guest musicians, including the band's long-time collaborator Matt Clifford and Beer's sporadic collaborator Paul Downes.
Strangefolk is an American rock-oriented jam band originally from Burlington, Vermont. Since forming in 1991, the band has released five studio albums, four live albums and one live concert DVD. The band consists of Jon Trafton, Erik Glockler, Reid Genauer, and Luke Smith (drums).

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are an American rock band from Vermont, formed in 2002 in Waitsfield by drummer Matt Burr, guitarist Scott Tournet, and singer Grace Potter. They began their career as an indie band, self-producing their albums and touring extensively in the jam bands and music festivals circuit, playing as many as 200 gigs in a year. In 2005 they signed for Hollywood Records; they have published four studio albums, encompassing rock subgenres such as blues rock, folk rock, hard rock, and alternative rock. Their third, self-titled album (2010) was a major commercial success, topping iTunes charts and receiving international attention.

Tijuana Sweetheart was an American all-female punk rock band from Boston, Massachusetts, United States. Don Conoscenti is an American singer-songwriter, record producer, and multi-instrumentalist originally from Chicago, Illinois. He started his musical career in middle school playing drums, before receiving a guitar as a gift from a cousin for his 8th grade graduation. Conoscenti became known for his unique use of multiple and partial capos on the acoustic guitar, releasing an instructional video Capo Abuse and Guitar Techniques in 2001. The Lonesome Sisters, Sarah Hawker and Debra Clifford, are an American acoustic music duo. They were voted Best Acoustic Duo of 2006 by Gibson Guitars. At Merlefest 2004 they performed and they won best country song in the Merlefest Chris Austin Songwriting Contest for Sarah's song, "Forgiveness." They have recorded six CDs on their own record label, Tin Halo Music. "Follow Me Down" was voted best original song in the Clifftop WV Appalachian Stringband Festival Songwriting Contest.
