Awakening Music (previously known as Awakening Records) is an England-based music production company. It was created in 2000 by four entrepreneurs from England and the United States. [1] [2]

In 2012, Awakening Music took part in "Sound of Light" charity concerts. [4] In 2013 and 2014, the record label helped to organise charity concerts in coordination with Islamic Relief, Human Appeal and other charity organisations around the world with the help of artists Maher Zain, Hamza Namira, Mesut Kurtis, Raef and Irfan Makki. Rotana Music Group is a Saudi Arabian record label and the music division of the Rotana Media Group. It was established by the Nagro Brothers, Mohammed, Khalid, Waleed, Ahmed and Nezar Nagro in 1987 and was later sold to Saudi billionaire Prince Al Waleed bin Talal. Rotana Music Group is known to be the largest record label and music repertoire holder in the Arab world and is headquartered in Riyadh, with other branches located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Kuwait, Cairo, Egypt and Beirut, Lebanon. Sami Yusuf is an Azerbaijani-British singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and composer. He gained international attention with the release of his debut album, Al-Muʽallim, in 2003. As of 2020, he has released eight studio albums, five live albums and one compilation album. His studio albums were mostly released by Andante Records, with the first two being released by Awakening Records. He has sold over 34 million albums as of 2016.

Thank You Allah is the debut studio album by Muslim Swedish singer Maher Zain. The album was released on November 1, 2009, by Awakening Records, with 13 songs and two bonus tracks. Maher's debut album is accompanied by three singles, each with its own music video. The album has achieved 8× platinum sales record in Malaysia as of January 2011 and has sold over 300,000 copies as of June 2016. Maher produced this album with Swedish producer from Bilal Hajji.

Irfan Arif Shahîd, born as Erfan Arif Kawar, was a scholar in the field of Oriental studies. He was from 1982 until his death professor emeritus at Georgetown University, where he had been the Oman Professor of Arabic and Islamic Literature. Shahîd was also a Fellow of the Medieval Academy of America since 2012.

Hamza Namira is an Egyptian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. He has released three albums from the production of Awakening Records: Dream With Me, Insan, Esmaani; and a couple of albums from Namira production, his own foundation: Hateer Min Tany and Mawlood Sanat 80. Besides singing, for which he is mostly known, he has also worked in musical composition and arrangement. Hamza composed some of his own work, like the album heads Esmaani and Insan, along with some collaborations with other artists, like Maher Zain's song Ya Nabi Salam Alayka. He also contributed to arranging the cartoony remake Egyptian Jingle Bells, which was the first shaabi work in his repertoire, later followed by Esta3izo in his fourth studio album.
