Ayanur Manjunatha (born 14 November 1955) is an Indian politician. He is a member of Rajya Sabha from Karnataka State for the term Jul 2010- July 2016. He was a member of Janata Dal (Secular). [1]
He was member of 12th Lok Sabha from Shimoga and defeated Sarekoppa Bangarappa of Congress. Earlier during 1994-98 he was Member of Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He had studied B.A., LL.B. at Sahyadri College at Shivamogga in Karnataka. [2]
Ayanur Manjunath resigned from MLC and also from primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party on 19 April 2023.[ citation needed ]
He later joined JDS [3] in April 2023 and contested the Karnataka Legislative Assembly election from Shimoga district. However, he lost the election along with its deposit.
He then joined the Indian National Congress party in August 2023 [4] and was fielded as an MLC candidate for the South-West Graduate Constituency from the party in March 2024. [5] However, he again lost the election against BJP candidate [6] after the results were announced in June 2024.

Siddaramaiah was a member of various Janata Parivar factions for several years.

Jagadish Shivappa Shettar is an Indian politician, who served as the 15th Chief Minister of Karnataka from 2012 to 2013. He is currently serving as Member of Karnataka Legislative Council. He has subsequently served as Leader of the Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly. He also served as the Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly during 2008–2009. He is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Earlier in 2023 he had joined the Indian National Congress, where he quit the BJP on being denied the MLA ticket in 2023. He represented Hubli-Dharwad Central Vidhan Sabha seat, which he resigned in 2023 before the elections. In March 2024, he was announced as the BJP candidate from the Belgaum Constituency for the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.
M. Shivanna was a member of the 14th Lok Sabha of India. He represented the Chamarajanagar constituency of Karnataka and was a member of the Janata Dal (Secular) political party. He was a member of National Commission for Scheduled Castes from 14 November 2010, later became the chairman of the same body till June 2014.
