Aung San Suu Kyi, sometimes abbreviated to Suu Kyi, is a Burmese politician, diplomat, author, and a 1991 Nobel Peace Prize laureate who served as State Counsellor of Myanmar and Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2016 to 2021. She has served as the leader of the National League for Democracy (NLD) since the party's founding in 1988, and was registered as its chairperson while it was a legal party from 2011 to 2023. MNL Cup Grand Royal 2009 is the inaugural knock-out club football tournament of the Myanmar National League. The tournament, held at the Aung San Stadium and the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon between 16 May and 5 July 2009, was contested by all eight clubs of the newly formed professional league. Yadanabon FC finished on top, one point ahead of Yangon United FC in group stage. On 5 July 2009, Yadanabon defeated Yangon United in the cup final on penalty shootout, to become the reigning champions of the league.
The Amyotha Hluttaw is the de jure upper house of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw, the bicameral legislature of Myanmar (Burma). It consists of 224 members, of which 168 are directly elected and 56 appointed by the Myanmar Armed Forces. The last elections to the Amyotha Hluttaw were held in November 2015. At its second meeting on 3 February 2016, Mahn Win Khaing Than and Aye Thar Aung were elected Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw and Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw as a whole.

Aung Thet Mann, also known as Shwe Mann Ko Ko (ရွှေမန်းကိုကို), is a Burmese businessman and currently CEO of Ayer Shwe Wah, a major Burmese company. Pon ye gyi is a fermented bean paste commonly used as a condiment or marinade in Burmese cuisine, especially in pork and fish dishes. Pon ye gyi is traditionally made from horse gram beans, alongside other beans. To prepare the paste, the seeds are boiled, pounded with salt and fermented for about 12 hours into a product similar to soya bean sauce, producing a viscous paste with a reddish brown colour. It is consumed as a side-dish all over Myanmar(2019). The towns of Bagan, Nyaung U and Sale, and Myingyan in the country's central dry zone are major producers of this product.
Nya is a Burmese language film which was created by director Htoo Paing Zaw Oo with the new actors and actresses. The film was screened in Myanmar cinemas on 28 July 2017 and re-screened on JCVG cinemas on 18 April 2018 which ended up as one of the highest-grossing films in Myanmar that year.

Myanmar's Got Talent (MGT) is the Burmese version of the Got Talent franchise that is airing on MRTV-4. It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers of all ages competing for a prize. It was broadcasting since 2014 and is now reaching its sixth season. The talent show was listed on The Myanmar Times "Top 10 Myanmar TV Shows" in 2019.
Ma Thudamasari is a 1994 Burmese drama film, directed by Kyi Soe Tun starring Kyaw Ye Aung, Moht Moht Myint Aung, Zaw Lin, Myint Myint Khine, San San Aye and Khin Soe Paing. It was based on the popular novel Ma Thudamasari written by Moe Moe (Inya).
