Ayrton Cahan (born December 6, 2007) is an American, open-wheel racing driver who competes in the USF Pro Championships for USF2000, with Exclusive Autosport. In 2024, he previously competed in the Formula Race Promotions Series FRP driving for Cahan Racing Team in the F1600 class. In 2025, he drove for Eric Langbein Racing in Formula Race Promotions and won the Series Championship.
Ayrton began karting at age 5, at his home track Suika Circuit, in Albuquerque. It wasn’t until 2022 that he expanded his racing career to regional competition with the Colorado Karting Tour. In 2023, Ayrton took on the Challenge of the Americas in the Shifter Class Karting Series, then returned for another season with the Colorado Karting Tour, where he finished 4th in the Championship. Ayrton’s open-wheel racing career launched in 2024, with Formula Race Promotions. Competing in the acclaimed F1600 class, he sharpened his race craft and deepened his drive to gain more experience behind the wheel, finishing 8th overall. [2]
In 2025, Ayrton joined Eric Langbein Racing to againcompete in the F1600 class, setting his sights on the championship. From the start, he made a strong impression in the 20-race series, securing 2 pole positions, 4 victories, 13 podium finishes, and winning the Series Championship. [3] [4]
