The Youth Organization (YTO) was founded on May 30, 2005. The organization's first president was Yusif Babanlı. YTO members benefit from TGRT's opportunities and become department heads, club presidents, designers, teachers, photographers, etc. They can try themselves in professions.
Namig Yadulla Abdullayev is a retired Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler, who won a gold medal at the 2000 Summer Olympics, as well as three gold medals at European championships and three silver medals at world championships.
Azerbaijan State University of Economics is a public university located in Baku, Azerbaijan. UNEC was founded in 1930, and it is one of the biggest educational institutions of the South Caucasus. UNEC has 14 faculties, where 18.5 thousand students get education, also has 5 branches, and it offers master programs in 57 specialties, employing more than 1000 teachers, including 62 professors and 344 docents, among whom there are active members of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, New York Academy of Sciences, winners of state awards, honored teachers and scientists. Sport in Azerbaijan has ancient roots, and even now, both traditional and modern sports are still practiced. Freestyle wrestling has been traditionally regarded as Azerbaijan's national sport and today, the most popular sports in Azerbaijan are combat sports, football and chess. Other popular sports are gymnastics, judo, futsal, weightlifting, and boxing. Azerbaijan's mountainous terrain provides great opportunities for the practice of sports like skiing and rock climbing. Water sports are practiced on the Caspian Sea and in inland waters. Competitively, Azerbaijan has been very successful at chess, weightlifting, and wrestling at the international level. Azerbaijan is also an active member of the international sports community, with full membership in the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), European Athletics Association (EAA), International Olympic Committee (IOC), among many others. It has also hosted the first European Games and 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games.
Rashid Garabey oglu Mammadbeyov was a bantamweight freestyle wrestler. He became the first Olympic medalist of Azerbaijani origin when he won the freestyle wrestling silver medal at the 1952 Summer Olympic Games.
Haji Aliyev, is an Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler. He competed at the 61 kg division in the 2014 European Wrestling Championships and won the gold medal after beating Bekkhan Goygereyev of Russia.

Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation (AWF) (Azerbaijani: Azərbaycan Güləş Federasiyası) is an organization which ensures the development and regulation of wrestling as a sport in Azerbaijan. The Federation was established in 1993. On December 8, 2021, an extraordinary meeting of the General Assembly of Azerbaijan Wrestling Federation was held, and Mikayil Jabbarov was elected the president of the Federation.
Ainur Mammadova is an Azerbaijani para-taekwondo practitioner competing in the K44 disability category and over 58 kg weight category, master of sports, two-time world champion and four-time European champion, silver medallist at the 2014 World Championships, bronze medallist at the 2010 World Championships and the 2016 European Championships. She represented Azerbaijan at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, but was not allowed to compete due to a positive test for COVID-19.
Tarlan Aliheydar oglu Hasanov is an Azerbaijani and Soviet sambo and judo athlete and coach. Hasanov is one of the first coaches and referees in Azerbaijan in judo. He is the personal coach of Olympic judo champion Hidayat Heydarov.
Balabay Azer oglu Aghayev is an Azerbaijani judoka, silver medalist of the 2024 European Judo Championships, member of the Azerbaijan national judo team. He is also a silver medalist at the 2018 World Juniors Championships, a three-time Grand Slam gold medalist), the champion of the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games and the 2021 Azerbaijan national champion. Aghayev represented Azerbaijan at the 2024 Summer Olympics.
