Wan Mohammad Khair Wan Azami Hamzah, popularly known as Kaer Azami, is a Malaysian singer-turned- designer. He was born and raised in Petaling Jaya. He represented Malaysia in various international art competitions during his elementary and high school. He won first prize in most of the competition. He was sent to Sri Bestari and Inai Beacon House International for his early education. He is the son of a famous architect Wan Azami bin Hamzah. His mother Kharidah Kadir is the daughter of the late Dato' Abdul Kadir from Sri Menanti who used to be the Speaker of Negeri Sembilan. Kaer Azami rose to prominence by coming sixth in the second season of a popular television talent show. Akademi Fantasia Kaer won Best Song at Anugerah Industri Muzik Malaysia 2008 with his song entitled Izinku Pergi composed by Azlan Abu Hassan, Lyric by Sulu Sarawak. He was also nominated for best new singer, best pop album and best male vocal. Later in 2009, Kaer went to Jakarta to pursue his Degree in Retail Business.

The 2017 AFF U-15 Championship was the twelfth edition of the AFF U-16 Championship, the annual international youth association football championship organised by the ASEAN Football Federation for men's under-15 national teams of Southeast Asia. It had reverted from an under-16 competition to an under-15 competition in preparation for the AFC U-16 Championship 2018 qualifiers. Thailand, which were selected to host the tournament, returning for the first time since the cancelled 2009 AFF U-16 Youth Championship. Vietnam won the tournament after beating Thailand 4–2 on penalties in the final.
Muhammad Jafri bin Muhammad Firdaus Chew is a Malaysian professional footballer who plays as a forward for Malaysian club Penang and the Malaysia U-23 national team. Jafri Firdaus Chew came up through Blue football academy. He started his footballing career with Harimau Muda B in 2013. On 25 November 2015, it was confirmed that the Harimau Muda has disbanded by Football Association of Malaysia which means all the player from Harimau Muda A, Harimau Muda B and Harimau Muda C will be returned to their own state. He also has been called by Frank Bernhardt, the Malaysian Under-19 National Coach for preparation of the 2016 AFF U-19 Youth Championship which was held in Hanoi, Vietnam from 11 to 24 September 2016.
At around 5:10 am on 14 September 2017, a fire occurred at the Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah madrasa in Kampung Datuk Keramat, Kuala Lumpur which resulted in 23 of the madrasa residents killed, while five others reportedly injured.
