B. Babusivan (4 November 1964 - 16 September 2020) was an Indian film director and screenwriter of Tamil films. [1] [2] He initially began his career as an assistant director to film director Dharani. In 2009, Babusivan became independent director in Vettaikaaran starring Vijay, Anushka Shetty and Srihari .
After a long interval in 2019, B. Babusivan made his re-entry in Tamil serials taking over Rasaathi, a Sun TV serial.
Babusivan died on September 16, 2020. [3]

Babu is a 1971 Indian Tamil language film directed by A. C. Tirulokchandar. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, Vijayasri, Sowcar Janaki and Vennira Aadai Nirmala. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Odayil Ninnu, which itself was based on P. Kesavadev's novel of the same name. Ganesan played a rickshaw puller who adopts landlord's daughter. Vettaikaaran (transl. Hunter) is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by debutant B. Babusivan and produced by AVM Productions. The film stars Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles, while Srihari, Salim Ghouse, Sayaji Shinde and Ravi Shankar appear in supporting roles. Gopinath handled the cinematography while V. T. Vijayan was the film's editor. This was Vijay's first film with AVM Productions and the only film B. Babusivan ever directed.

Spyder is a 2017 Indian action thriller film written and directed by A. R. Murugadoss and produced by N. V. Prasad. The film was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Telugu languages, and stars Mahesh Babu, S. J. Suryah and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Pattina Pravesam is a 1977 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by K. Balachander. It is based on the play of the same name, written by Visu and staged the same year. The film stars Delhi Ganesh, Sivachandran and Sarath Babu, all making their cinematic acting debuts. It was released on 9 September 1977. The plot is similar to the 1965 film The Conquerors of the Golden City, directed by Getin Gurtop and the 1964 film Birds of Exile by Halit Refig.
Jack N' Jill is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language science fiction comedy film directed by Santosh Sivan. It stars Manju Warrier, Kalidas Jayaram, Soubin Shahir, Shaylee Krishen, and Esther Anil in the lead role. The film marks cinematographer, Santosh Sivan's directorial comeback in Malayalam cinema after nearly 7 years. The film is released in theatres on 20 May 2022. The film is partially reshot in Tamil under title Centimeter with Yogi Babu replacing Soubin Shahir was also released on same day. The film was a box-office disaster.
