Of the film, Chaturvedi has commented that he drew upon his own life experiences for inspiration for the movie, as he had several of his marriage proposals rejected because he did not own his own home. [4]

Synopsis

All Pawan Bhalla wants is to marry his love Pooja, however her father has given him one requirement: that he get a place of his own and do so within a month. Finding a suitable home proves to be difficult, as living space in Mumbai is at a premium.

Reception

The Times of India panned the film, as they felt that it was "far too content being plain and passable. Replete with amateur jokes, the writing is worse than that of laughter shows." [5] The Free Press Journal also criticized BHK Bhalla@Halla.com, writing that it was "A threadbare situational comedy that tries hard to make it all look funny but fails miserably." [6]

In contrast, actor Tom Alter praised the movie, which he felt was comparable to Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro . [7] The Hans India was also more favorable, as they wrote that the movie "largely succeeds in narrating a good story in a light-hearted and funny manner." [8]

Love Story 2050 is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language science fiction-romance film starring producer Pammi Baweja and director Harry Baweja's son Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra. Some parts were filmed in Adelaide, Australia. Initially the film was supposed to release on 21 December 2007 but got postponed to 4 July 2008 due to extensive post-production work. The premiere was held on 2 July 2008 in London. The film draws a lot of similarity to the 1991 Telugu film Aditya 369; while the Telugu film dealt with travel to the past as well as dystopian post-apocalyptic future, Love Story 2050 was exclusively about travelling to a utopian future-city of Mumbai in the year 2050. Ankit Gupta is an Indian actor and model who is known for working in Hindi television. He is best known for his role as Parth Kashyap in Sadda Haq, Garv Priyom Thakur in Begusarai, Fateh Singh Virk in Colors TV's Udaariyaan and Jahaan Mehta in Junooniyatt. In 2022, he appeared in Bigg Boss 16 as a contestant.
