Toys in the Attic is a 2009 internationally co-produced stop-motion animated fantasy film directed by Jiří Barta and written by Edgar Dutka and Barta which depicts a community of toys and other objects in an attic who come to life when no human is around. It is an international co-production between the Czech Republic, France, Japan and Slovakia. The film was released first in the Czech Republic on 5 March 2009 and has been shown subtitled at film festivals internationally. An American dub – adapted, produced and directed by Vivian Schilling and performed by actors including Forest Whitaker, Joan Cusack, Cary Elwes and Schilling herself – has been recorded, which the film was first shown with on 3 March 2012 at the New York International Children's Film Festival and was released nationally on 24 August 2012 by Hannover House.

Vlasta Štěpová

Vlasta Štěpová is a Czech former politician and economist. She was the Czechoslovak Minister of Trade and Tourism in the Federation between 1989 and 1992, as part of the cabinet of firstly František Pitra, then Petr Pithart. She was elected as a member of the Civic Forum to the Czech National Council in June 1990. After spending some time with the Civic Movement, she joined the Social Democratic Party in March 1994. In 1996 she was elected to the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.

The Head of Franz Kafka, also known as the Statue of Kafka, is an outdoor sculpture by David Černý depicting Bohemian German-language writer Franz Kafka, installed outside the Quadrio shopping centre in Prague, Czech Republic. The kinetic sculpture is 11 metres tall and made of 42 rotating panels. Each layer is mechanized and rotates individually.

Jiří Procházka is a Czech mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. He was the inaugural Rizin Fighting Federation Light Heavyweight Champion and the inaugural Gladiator Fighting Championship Light Heavyweight Champion. As of July 4, 2022 he is #9 in the UFC men's pound-for-pound rankings.
