Rotherhithe is a district of South London, England, and part of the London Borough of Southwark. It is on a peninsula on the south bank of the Thames, facing Wapping, Shadwell and Limehouse on the north bank, with the Isle of Dogs to the east. It borders Bermondsey to the west and Deptford to the south-east. The district is a part of the Docklands area.

The next station to the north is Canada Water; to the south, it splits into branches to Clapham Junction, New Cross and Crystal Palace/West Croydon. Closed in late 2007 as an underground station, it was refurbished and reopened as part of the London Overground network on 27 April 2010.
Surrey Quays is a largely residential area of Rotherhithe in south-east London, occupied until 1970 by the Surrey Commercial Docks. The precise boundaries of the area are somewhat amorphous, but it is generally considered to comprise the southern half of the Rotherhithe peninsula from Canada Water to South Dock; electorally, Surrey Docks is the eastern half of the peninsula. The area is served by Surrey Quays railway station on the London Overground route. Surrey Docks are so called because the borders of Surrey and Kent met in this area until 1889.

La Sagrera-Meridiana, simply known as La Sagrera, is an interchange complex underneath Avinguda Meridiana, in the Barcelona district of Sant Andreu, in Catalonia, Spain. It consists of a Rodalies de Catalunya station and three Barcelona Metro stations. The Rodalies de Catalunya station is located in the Meridiana Tunnel on the Lleida to Barcelona via Manresa railway, between Fabra i Puig and Arc de Triomf, and is operated by Renfe Operadora. It is served by Barcelona commuter rail service lines R3 and R4, as well as regional rail line R12. The Barcelona Metro stations are on lines 1 (L1) and 5 (L5), as well as the northern section of line 9/10, and are operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB). On the L1, the station is between Navas and Fabra i Puig, on the L5 between Camp de l'Arpa and Congrés, and on the L9/L10 between Plaça Maragall (future) and Sagrera - TAV. The station is also projected to become the terminus of the L4 once the extension from La Pau opens. A number of interurban bus services stop near the station.

Originally designed in the 1970s, it opened in 2011 after decades of delays due to financial difficulties and security issues. The Algiers Metro was the second metro system to open in Africa, after the Cairo Metro.

The Glasson Dock Branch Line was a railway line in Lancashire, England. Opened in 1883, this 5-mile branch line connected Glasson Dock to the UK rail network at Lancaster, with stations at Glasson Dock, Conder Green and at a private halt, Ashton Hall railway station. Passenger and freight services were provided, and its success came from transporting goods from the dock at Glasson and from St Georges Quay in Lancaster.
