Bachelor Creek (Missouri)

Bachelor Creek is a stream in northeastern Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] It is a tributary of the Loutre River.

The stream headwaters arise northwest of the community of Bachelor at 38°59′36″N91°47′41″W / 38.99333°N 91.79472°W / 38.99333; -91.79472 and it flows east to southeast past the north side of Whetstone Creek Conservation Area and south of Shamrock to its confluence with the Loutre River about one mile west of the Callaway-Montgomery county line at 38°59′16″N91°39′42″W / 38.98778°N 91.66167°W / 38.98778; -91.66167 . Bachelor Creek was named for two bachelors who briefly settled along its course. [3]

The headwaters of Cedar Creek are in northeast Boone County about five miles east of Hallsville and one mile west of the Audrain-Boone county line. Bachelor is an unincorporated community in northern Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is on Missouri Route A, approximately six miles east-southeast of Auxvasse. The headwaters of Bachelor Creek are to the northwest of the community.

Crows Fork begins with the confluence of Maddox Branch with Richland Creek at 38°53′16″N91°53′39″W northeast of Fulton. The stream flows south to southeast and enters Auxvasse Creek west of Reform at 38°47′10″N91°51′46″W.

The stream flows southeast and crosses under Missouri Route 54 north of Fulton and reaches its confluence with Maddox Branch to form Crows Fork Creek northeast of Fulton at 38°53′16″N91°53′39″W.

Shamrock is an unincorporated community in Shamrock Township in the northeast corner of Callaway County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. The community is on Missouri Route B two miles west of the Loutre River. Auxvasse is ten miles to the west, Montgomery City is about nine miles east and Williamsburg is five miles south.

Youngs Creek is a stream in Callaway County in the U.S. state of Missouri. It is a tributary of Stinson Creek. The stream headwaters arise southwest of Fulton at 38°50′20″N91°59′56″W and it flows southeast crossing under U.S. Route 54 and Missouri Route C northwest of Hams Prairie where its course turns north to its confluence with Stinson Creek southeast of Fulton at 38°48′43″N91°54′56″W at an elevation of 614 feet.
