Back into the Woods is the sixth studio album by British singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt, released in 2013 in the UK. The album was written over the course of a month after Harcourt completed recording Lustre . The album was recorded in Abbey Road Studios during a single six-hour-long session on April 26, 2007. [1]

The album's nine tracks feature Harcourt performing on piano with little or no accompanying instrumentation. [2] The album was positively reviewed by music critics.[ specify ] [3] [4] [5] [6]

The Madcap Laughs is the debut solo album by the English singer-songwriter Syd Barrett. It was recorded after Barrett had left Pink Floyd in April 1968. The album had a chequered recording history, with work beginning in mid-1968, but the bulk of the sessions taking place between April and July 1969, for which five different producers were credited − including Barrett, Peter Jenner, Malcolm Jones, and fellow Pink Floyd members David Gilmour and Roger Waters. Edward Henry Richard Harcourt-Smith is an English singer-songwriter. To date, he has released six studio albums, two EPs, and thirteen singles.
