The badminton tournaments at the 2013 Mediterranean Games in Mersin took place between 25 June and 30 June at the Mersin University Hall. This was the first time that badminton events held at the Mediterranean Games.

Contents

Athletes competed in four events: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles and women's doubles.

Toma Junior Popov is a French badminton player. He won the bronze medal at the 2015 European Junior Championships in the boys' singles event. Popov made history as the first non-Danish male player to win a European Junior team gold as well as the men's singles and doubles in 2017. He joined Peter Gade, Jim Laugesen, and Thomas Stuer-Lauridsen as the only men to have ever completed the treble. He competed at the 2018 Mediterranean Games and claimed the men's singles bronze medal.

The badminton tournaments at the 2018 Mediterranean Games took place between 23 and 26 June at the El Morell Pavilion in El Morell, Tarragona. This was the second time that badminton events held at the Mediterranean Games.

Bengisu Erçetin is a Turkish badminton player. Erçetin won the gold medal at the 2018 European Junior Championships, 2022 Mediterranean Games, and the silver medal at the 2018 Mediterranean Games partnered with Nazlıcan İnci.
