Panama's Ciudad del Saber is a government-sponsored cluster of academic organizations, technology companies and non-governmental organizations, managed by the foundation of the same name. It is located just across the Miraflores locks, in what used to be United States Army South headquarters, Fort Clayton, now known simply as Clayton.
Martyrs' Day is a Panamanian day of national mourning which commemorates the January 9, 1964 anti-American riots over sovereignty of the Panama Canal Zone. The riot started after a Panamanian flag was torn and students were killed during a conflict with Canal Zone Police officers and Canal Zone residents. It is also known as the Flag Incident or Flag Protests.

Estadio Municipal de Balboa is a multi-purpose stadium in Balboa, Panama. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Municipal Chorrillo. The stadium holds 2,000 people.
Balboa Heights was more or less part of the Panama Canal township of Balboa, existing on its edge, towards Ancón, and partly on the lower slopes of Ancon Hill. It was not really a proper township in terms of having anything beyond residential neighborhoods, but had its own map page in the Canal Zone telephone book. The 1914 Panama Canal Administration Building opened on Balboa Heights which overlooks the port. The Administration Building as extensive Canal art displays.
The University of Panama was founded on October 7, 1935. Initially, it had 175 students learning education, commerce, natural sciences, pharmacy, pre-engineering or law. As of 2008, it had 74,059 students distributed in 228 buildings across the country.
Fort Clayton was a United States Army base in the former Panama Canal Zone, later part of the Republic of Panama.
Balboa High School was a public high school in the former Canal Zone on the isthmus of Panama. It was a part of the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA).
Fort Kobbe was an Army fort renamed from Fort Bruja on 15 April 1932 to honor Major General William A. Kobbe. At the time it was located adjacent to Howard Air Force Base in the Panama Canal Zone. In the 1930s it was primarily a United States Army Coast Artillery Corps post. It was located on the west side of the Panama Canal. Most of the area around it was uninhabited, though Panama City could be reached by crossing the nearby Bridge of the Americas. A rock quarry was operated intermittently in the southwest corner of the Fort near the southern end of the Howard Air Force Base main runway. In the Fort, there was a series of barracks starting on the southern end of Howard Air Force Base in the level land adjacent to the southern end of Howard Air Force Base. In the hills on the east side of the fort were Officer's Married and Bachelor Quarters, and an Officer's Club. There was a small parade field and married NCO housing in the southern end of the Fort. There was a beach in the southeast corner of the fort going into the Pacific Ocean. The beach was protected by a large shark net, as it was understood that the waters in that part of the Pacific were shark-infested. The tides were almost 12', so the beach was not a pristine site. Given that Panamanian locals did not have access to the area, the beach was not used very heavily. The eastern half of Fort Kobbe was jungle stretching over to the western side of the mouth of the Panama Canal.
Crawford Adventist Academy is a K– grade 12 Adventist private day-school in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The school is divided into two sections, the elementary, which consists of grades JK-8, and the high school, which consistis of grades 9-12. The campus is located next to the 1000+ member Willowdale Adventist Church, and the previously SDA owned North York General Hospital Branson Site. Florida State University-Panama, or FSU-Panama is an international branch campus of Florida State University located on the isthmus of Panama. FSU has operating a broad curriculum program in Panama City of the Republic of Panama for over 50 years. The campus, located by the Miraflores Locks of the Panama Canal, provides students with many facilities, including the largest English-language library in the Republic of Panama, computer facilities, research facilities, student housing, and athletic facilities. The student population is generally international and comes from the United States, the Republic of Panama and other countries.
PSA Panama International Terminal is a port built by PSA International on the site of the former United States Navy Rodman Naval Base located southwest of Panama City at the entrance to the Panama Canal from the Pacific Ocean.

Naval Base Panama Canal Zone refers to a number of United States Navy bases used during World War II to both protect the Panama Canal and the key shipping lanes around the Panama Canal Zone. Bases were built and operated on the Atlantic Ocean side and the Pacific Ocean side. The main Naval Base at the Panama Canal was the Naval Station Coco Solo that had been in operation since 1918.
