Bandra Talao locally referred to as Swami Vivekanand Talao is a small lake located in Bandra, Mumbai. The lake was formerly known as Lotus Tank and is a Grade II heritage structure. [1] The lake was also called "Motha Sarovar" and was constructed by a rich Konkani Muslim of Navpada (also spelt Naupada or Naopara), an adjoining village. [2] [3] It is spread across 7.5 acres. [4]

The maintenance of the lake was later turned over to the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai and renamed Swami Vivekanand Sarovar. Paddle boating facilities and pisciculture activities were operational in this lake during the 1990s. It is 200 years old. [5]

Bharat Diamond Bourse

Bharat Diamond Bourse (BDB) is the world's largest diamond bourse (exchange) and is located in Mumbai, India. Spread over a 20-acre plot, the Complex is home to some 2,500 small and large diamond traders in addition to the Custom House, banks and other service providers who cater to the gems and jewelry trade. There are 26 towers having 9 floors each. The total constructed area is 2,000,000 sq ft (190,000 m2), with two basements of additional 1,000,000 sq ft (93,000 m2). The facilities at BDB comprise offices of diamond traders, four walk-in vaults, 24,500 safe deposit boxes, a 6,200-square-foot (580 m2) trading floor, strong rooms, lockers and customs clearance facilities with all the modern facilities required to carry on day-to-day business.

The Deonar dumping ground is a waste dumping ground or landfill in the city of Mumbai. Located in Deonar, an eastern suburb of the city, it is India's oldest and largest dumping ground, set up in 1927. The dumping ground is managed by the city's civic body, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, which also manages two other dumping ground in the city; one in the neighbourhood of Mulund and one recently opened in Kanjurmarg.

The Carter Road Promenade is a 1.25 kilometre-long walkway along the sea on the western coast of Mumbai, India. This promenade was opened up to the public in January 2002. The promenade has been managed by the Bandra West Residents' Association. The Carter Road Promenade extends up to Khar Danda.

Mumbai–New Delhi Duronto Express, also known as Mumbai AC Duronto Express, is a fully air-conditioned, non-stop version of Duronto-type service running between Mumbai Central and New Delhi. It is maintained by Western Railways (WR), Mumbai division. This train does not used to make any commercial halts, but now it does make commercial halts at Vadodara,Ratlam and Kota. Swami Vivekanand Inter-state bus terminus popularly known as Anand Vihar ISBT, located in East Delhi is one of the three Inter State Bus Terminals in Delhi. Anand Vihar ISBT was built in 1993, but it became fully functional with effect from March 1996. It is spread over an area of approximately 25 acres and operates bus services between Delhi and two other states, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
