Baptiste Pierron (born 8 August 1993) is a French downhill mountain biker. In 2019, he won the European Downhill Championships in Pampilhosa da Serra, Portugal. [1] His younger brothers Amaury and Antoine also compete in downhill racing.
Pierron is a village in Bond and Madison counties, Illinois, United States. The population was 459 at the 2020 census, down from 600 at the 2010 census. The village is part of the St. Louis metropolitan area.
Downhill is a form of alpine skiing competition. Whereas the other alpine skiing events emphasize turning and technique, downhill emphasizes "the six components of technique, courage, speed, risk, physical condition and judgement", according to the FIS "International Ski Competition Rules (ICR)". Speeds of up to 130 km/h (81 mph) are common in international competition. Athletes must have an aerodynamically efficient tuck position to minimize drag and increase speed.

His older brother Baptiste and his younger brother Antoine also compete in downhill racing.
