Kathy Pham is a Vietnamese American computer scientist and product management executive. She has held roles in leadership,engineering,product management,and data science at Google,IBM,the Georgia Tech Research Institute,Harris Healthcare,and served as a founding product and engineering member of the United States Digital Service (USDS) in the Executive Office of the President of the United States at The White House. Pham was the Deputy Chief Technology Officer for Product and Engineering at the Federal Trade Commission,and the inaugural Executive Director of the National AI Advisory Committee.
Randall Wayne Engle is an American psychologist and professor of psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Dr. Engle is known for his research on working memory,attentional control,and human intelligence. Specifically,his research investigates the nature of working memory,the causes of its limitations,its role in applied cognitive tasks,and the relationships between working memory,cognitive control,and fluid intelligence. His work has received funding from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development,Air Force Office of Scientific Research,DARPA,and Office of Naval Research. Dr. Engle's work has influenced modern theories of cognitive and emotional control,and has had an impact on a number of fields including social psychology,emotion,psychopathology,developmental psychology,and psychological testing. According to Google Scholar,his work has been cited over 48,000 times. Dr. Engle is the principal investigator in the Attention &Working Memory Lab at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Natalie Stingelin,Fellow of the Materials Research Society and Royal Society of Chemistry,is a materials scientist and current chair of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology,the University of Bordeaux and Imperial College. She led the European Commission Marie Curie INFORM network and is Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Materials Chemistry C and Materials Advances.
Reginald DesRoches is an American civil engineer who,as of July 1,2022,serves as the president at Rice University. From 2020 until 2022,he served as provost of Rice. On March 4,2021,she became the President-Elect of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
Kaye Husbands Fealing is an American economist who is Dean of the Ivan Allen College of Liberal Arts at Georgia Tech. She previously taught for 20 years at Williams College,served in several staff positions with the National Science Foundation,and chaired the School of Public Policy at Georgia Tech. She is a former president of the National Economic Association.
Loren Dean Williams is a biophysicist,biochemist,astrobiologist,and professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta,Georgia. His research seeks to understand the structural basis for macromolecular reactions,from the role of nucleic acids as targets of chemotherapeutics to the ancestral biochemistry of the ribosome during the origin of life.
