Barclay Allen (born June 23, 1945) is a former Canadian football quarterback and defensive back who played in the Canadian Football League from 1970 to 1974. He played college football for the Southern Illinois Salukis. [1] In 1969, Allen was the Salukis' starting quarterback. [2] He signed with the Montreal Alouettes the following year and later played for the Ottawa Rough Riders and Calgary Stampeders over a total of 49 games. [1] Although his original position was as quarterback, Allen saw little time in that role, throwing only two passes during his CFL career. [3] Instead, he spent most of his time as a defensive halfback, making five interceptions over his career, including a pick six. [1]

He was drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the twelfth round of the 1981 NFL Draft, but remained a practice squad member during his one year with the team. He played college football at Tennessee State University. Adams garnered the nickname "747" in reference to the Boeing 747 aircraft.

Michael Allen is a former Canadian football defensive back who played seven seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, Ottawa Rough Riders and BC Lions. He was drafted by the Blue Bombers in the fourth round of the 1988 CFL Draft. He played at Bemidji State University, Division II NCAA in Bemidji, Minnesota, USA in 1984. He then transferred to CIS football at Carleton University in 1986. Allen won three Grey Cup championships, two with the Blue Bombers and one with the Lions.

James Donald Abson was a Canadian football defensive back and flying wing. He played for the Ottawa Rough Riders from 1945 to 1946.
