Baridhara DOHS is a neighborhood in Baridhara, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

History

It was built on flood plains, which may potentially make the building in the area vulnerable to earthquakes. [1] There is a mosque near the lake in Baridhara DOHS. [2] Inspire is a creative space in DOHS where you can practice yoga. [3] [4] Baridhara DOHS Convention Centre is located here. [5]

It was the 7th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League since its establishment in 2007. A total of 10 football clubs competed in the league. The country's top-flight football competition was started on 27 December 2013.

Uttar Baridhara Club is a Bangladeshi football club, established in 1995, based in Kalachandpur, Baridhara, Dhaka. They currently compete in the Dhaka Senior Division League, the third tier of Bangladeshi football, following relegation from the 2021–22 Bangladesh Premier League and then punishment for match fixing.

Dhaka Pop Culture Expo was a convention for fans of comic books, film, TV, anime and video games, held in the Bangladeshi capital of Dhaka. The first event was held on Friday and Saturday 30–31 August 2013 at Baridhara DOHS Convention Center, Dhaka; it was attended by over 2,000 participants. The 2014 expo was staged 24–25 June 2014 at the National Shooting Federation Hall in Dhaka. The third edition took place 31 July and 1 August 2015. The expo returned in July 2016, and June 2017.
