Barney Boko was a British comic strip series, drawn by John R. Mason, which was published in the British comics magazine The Dandy from 1937 to 1944. It was about a tramp whose incredibly long nose could be used for anything, from a Christmas tree to a bridge. It ran for seven years from the first issue in December 1937.
"Yankee Doodle" is a traditional song and nursery rhyme, the early versions of which predate the Seven Years' War and American Revolution. It is often sung patriotically in the United States today. It is the state anthem of Connecticut. Its Roud Folk Song Index number is 4501. The melody is thought to be much older than both the lyrics and the subject, going back to folk songs of Medieval Europe.

The first issue was printed in December 1937, making it the world's third-longest running comic, after Il Giornalino and Detective Comics. From August 2007 until October 2010, it was rebranded as Dandy Xtreme.

Cuddles and Dimples is a British comic strip published in the comic book magazine The Dandy. It was first published in 1986. The stories' protagonists are two toddler brothers who like to cause double the trouble wherever they go. The artist when the strip first started was Barrie Appleby, who continued until 2004 with a strip by Gordon Bell in the 1994 annual and a sole strip by Nigel Parkinson in 2003, who took over the strip next year as part of the revamp at that time.
Korky the Cat is a character in a comic strip in the British comics magazine The Dandy. It first appeared in issue 1, dated 4 December 1937, except for one issue, No. 294 when Keyhole Kate was on the cover. For several decades he was the mascot of The Dandy. In 1984, after 47 virtually continuous years, Korky was replaced on the front cover by Desperate Dan.

The comic strip is one page long and features Owen's interaction with his overweight, lazy and incompetent coach. The strip is very similar to DC Thomson stablemate The Beano's Ball Boy strip.

The Dawn of a Tomorrow is a 1924 American silent drama film directed by George Melford, produced by Famous Players-Lasky and distributed through Paramount Pictures, and starring Jacqueline Logan. It is based on the 1906 novel of the same name by Frances Hodgson Burnett which had been filmed before in 1915 also titled as The Dawn of a Tomorrow with Mary Pickford. A play version had been produced on Broadway in 1909 which served as the final starring stage role for Eleanor Robson Belmont.
Stevie White is a British comics artist who works under the pen name Stref. He has worked for The Beano and The Dandy, drawing Winker Watson, Dennis the Menace and The Bash Street Kids, and had a graphic novel for mature readers, Milk, published in 2009. He also draws the strip Raising Amy for PlayStation Comics and the iPhone. He also drew Chester, the Alien-chaser and Dallas Ditchwater for The Dandy in the 2000s.
Keyhole Kate was a 1930s British comic strip series in The Dandy. The strip featured a nosy young girl who liked to look through people's keyholes. She appeared in The Dandy's first issue, drawn by Allan Morley back in 1937. She continued in The Dandy until 1955 and appeared as the cover strip of issue 295. She later appeared in the new Sparky comic released in 1965, alongside Hungry Horace another character who appeared in The Dandy''s first issue and was drawn by Morley. The character was featured alongside Hungry Horace on the front cover of the Sparky book from 1970 to 1972.
The Amazing Mr X was a British comics character who appeared in British children's magazine The Dandy from 1944 to 1945. The character is regarded as Britain's first superhero. The comic was drawn by Jack Glass, and reappeared drawn by Dudley Watkins in the 1962 Dandy Book.
Outlaw Women is a 1952 American Western film directed by Sam Newfield and Ron Ormond and starring Marie Windsor, Richard Rober and Carla Balenda. It is set in a remote small town run entirely by women. The film was made in Cinecolor and released by the low-budget specialist Lippert Pictures.
