Bartolomeo degli Erri (1447–1482) was an Italian Gothic painter of the Italian Renaissance.
Bartolomeo degli Erri, and his brothers Bartolomeo Bonascia and Agnolo are considered key figures of the Quattrocento movement in Modena. Bartolomeo probably contributed to the large triptych of the Coronation of the Virgin at the Galleria Estense (1462 and 1466) mainly attributed to his brother. The art historian Roberto Longhi also assigns a secondary interest to a series of paintings of scenes from the lives of the saints. There are tables that are probably from three dismembered altarpieces dedicated to the saints, made between 1466 and 1474 for the church of San Domenico Modena.
He also has works in various museums worldwide, including Metropolitan Museum of Art, Kunsthistorisches Museum, California Palace of the Legion of Honor, and the Galleria Estense.

The Galleria dell'Accademia di Firenze, or "Gallery of the Academy of Florence", is an art museum in Florence, Italy. It is best known as the home of Michelangelo's sculpture David. It is smaller and more specialized than the Uffizi, the main art museum in Florence. Francesco Bianchi was an Italian painter of the Renaissance period. He is also known as Francesco del Bianchi Ferrara and Il Frare. He was born at Ferrara. Modena is also mentioned as the place of his birth. His works were much esteemed in his time. He was a pupil of Cosimo Tura. He is said to have been an instructor of Correggio, but Bianchi would have died when the former was only 16 years old.
The Galleria Estense is an art gallery in the heart of Modena, centred around the collection of the d’Este family: rulers of Modena, Ferrara and Reggio from 1289 to 1796. Located on the top floor of the Palazzo dei Musei, on the St. Augustine square, the museum showcases a vast array of works ranging from fresco and oil painting to marble, polychrome and terracotta sculpture; musical instruments; numismatics; curios and decorative antiques.

Madonna and Child with Saints Francis and Quirinus is a 94.5 by 111.5 cm fragment of a fresco by Correggio, dating to around 1505 and now held in the Galleria Estense in Modena. Ercole III d'Este, Duke of Modena ordered that the fresco be transferred from the church of Santa Maria della Misericordia in Correggio to the Galleria Estense - it was then thought to be a work by Allegri. It was then recorded as having been moved to the church on a fragment of wall from another building - that other building was probably the new collegiata di San Quirino, given the presence of Quirinus of Neuss, holding a mitre and a model of the town of Correggio. It also shows saint Francis.

The galleries aim to preserve the historic heritage left by the influential House of Este, with a focus on relating their noble past to the local communities at each site.
The Pinacotecta Nazionale is an art gallery in Ferrara, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. It is located on the piano nobile of the Palazzo dei Diamanti, a work of Renaissance architecture by Biagio Rossetti, commissioned by Leonello d’Este in 1447. Not to be confused with the Civic Museum on the lower floor, which has hosted temporary exhibitions of contemporary art since 1992, the Pinacoteca houses a collection of paintings by the Ferrarese School dating from the thirteenth to the eighteenth centuries. It was founded in 1836 by the Municipality of Ferrara after Napoleon's widespread dissolution of churches threatened the protection of important public artworks. The gallery is formed as much around notable northern Italian painters as it is around the exquisite interior decoration of the palace itself, together with remnants of frescoes from local churches and later acquisitions from the Sacrati Strozzi collection.

San Geminiano was a Roman Catholic church located in Piazza San Marco in Venice, Italy, dedicated to Saint Geminianus. It is believed to have been founded by the Byzantines in the 6th century AD and it was destroyed and rebuilt several times over subsequent centuries. The last reconstruction began in 1505 to designs of the architect Cristoforo da Legname, and it was completed by Jacopo Sansovino in 1557. This church was a significant example of Venetian Renaissance architecture, and it was well-known for being ornate and richly decorated. The building was demolished in 1807 in order to make way for the Napoleonic wing of the Procuratie, and many of the artworks it contained were distributed among other churches and museums.
