Silvana Petra Tirinzoni is a Swiss curler from Zurich. She is currently the reigning women's world champion skip having won the last three championships, in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Tirinzoni also represented Switzerland at the 2022 Winter Olympics and 2018 Winter Olympics, after winning the 2017 Swiss Olympic Curling Trials.
Thomas Ulsrud is a Norwegian curler from Oslo. He is the skip of the 2014 World champion Norwegian national team, a two-time European champion and Olympic silver medalist. Ulsrud is also the current holder of the record for most wins by a skip at the World Men's Curling Championship.
Johan Niklas Edin is a Swedish curler. He currently resides in Karlstad, which has been his curling home base since 2008. He is the first and currenly the only skip in history to win three Olympic medals – gold (2022), silver (2018), and bronze (2014). He is a six-time World champion and, thus, the first and only skip in history to skip teams to six World Men's Curling Championship medals. He has curled solely in the role of skip since 2008 and, thus, all of the international medals he has won in that role since then have earned him more of these medals than any other skip in history. He is also a seven-time European Curling Champion, additionally winning three silver medals in those championships. He has won three Olympic medals, winning a gold medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics, a silver medal at the 2018 Winter Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2014 Winter Olympics. Taking into account his combined junior and senior career, he has also won the most medals in international competitions of all curlers as recognized by the World Curling Federation. He has also made the playoffs in thirty-seven Grand Slam of Curling events and skipped his team to become the first non-Canadian men's team to win any Slam, as well as the first such team to win more than one Slam, as well as the Pinty's Cup. With the same lineup in 2022, Edin and his teammates also became the first men's curling team ever to win four straight World Curling Championships. Edin has played exclusively in the position of skip since 2007. The team bearing his name has been ranked on the World Curling Tour as high as No. 1, including for most of the 2017–18 season. As of the end of the 2020–21 Curling Season, Team Edin is ranked among the Top 10 teams in the world.
Rachel Catherine Homan is a Canadian international curler. Homan is a former Canadian junior champion, a three-time Canadian national champion, and the 2017 world champion, all as a skip. She was also the skip of the Canadian women's curling team at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
Lesley Kaitlyn Lawes is a Canadian curler. Lawes was the long time third for the Jennifer Jones team that represented Canada at the 2014 Winter Olympics where they won the gold medal. They were the first women's team to go through the Olympics undefeated and the first Manitoba based curling team to win at the Olympics. Lawes curled with John Morris in the mixed doubles event at the 2018 Winter Olympics where they won gold. This win made her and Morris the first Canadian curlers to win two Olympic gold medals, and Lawes was the first to win gold in two consecutive Olympics.
Oskar Ingemar Eriksson is a Swedish curler from Karlstad. He currently plays third for the Niklas Edin rink. He is the first curler in history to win four Olympic medals – gold, silver, and two bronze – and the first to secure two Olympic medals in different curling disciplines in the same Olympic Games. He is also a six-time World Men's Curling Champion, seven-time European Men's Curling Champion, and the first curler in history to win three gold medals in major international curling championships in a single calendar year – the World Men's Curling Championship, the European Curling Championship, and the World Mixed Doubles Championship. Having also won two World Mixed Doubles Championship medals, he is the first and the only curler to have seven World Curling Championship gold medals in the senior men's division and has won twelve World Curling Championship medals overall in that division. He also holds the record for most gold medals in international competitions as recognized by the World Curling Federation. He is the only member of Team Sweden to have competed in all of the World Men's Curling Championships from 2011 to 2021. He won medals in all but one of these championships, as well as playing in multiple positions – as skip, third, second, and as an alternate. In 2022, Eriksson and his teammates also became the first men's team in history to win four consecutive World Men's Curling Championships, with Eriksson and Niklas Edin becoming the first and only two curlers in history to have six career gold World Men's Curling Championship medals.
The World Curling Championships are the annual world championships for curling, organized by the World Curling Federation and contested by national championship teams. There are men's, women's and mixed doubles championships, as well as men's and women's versions of junior and senior championships. There is also a world championship for wheelchair curling. The men's championship started in 1959, while the women's started in 1979. The mixed doubles championship was started in 2008. Since 2005, the men's and women's championships have been held in different venues, with Canada hosting one of the two championships every year: the men's championship in odd years, and the women's championship in even years. Canada has dominated both the men's and women's championships since their inception, although Switzerland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Scotland, the United States, Norway and China have all won at least one championship.
Satsuki Fujisawa is a Japanese curler from Kitami, Hokkaido. As a skip, she has won the Japanese national championship six times. Fujisawa skipped the bronze medal-winning Japanese team at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games and the silver medal-winning team at the 2022 Winter Olympics. She is currently the skip of the Loco Solare curling team.
Michèle Jäggi is a Swiss curler. Jäggi has represented Switzerland as a junior curler, and is currently active on the World Curling Tour. Jäggi currently skips her own team.
Alina Pätz is a Swiss curler. She currently throws fourth stones on Team Silvana Tirinzoni. She is a five time world champion and was the alternate player for the Mirjam Ott rink which represented Switzerland at the 2014 Winter Olympics.
Sayaka Yoshimura is a Japanese curler from Sapporo. She is currently the skip of the Hokkaido Bank FORTIUS curling team on the World Curling Tour.
Kjell Tommy Christoffer Sundgren is a Swedish curler. He currently plays lead for the Swedish national team, skipped by Niklas Edin. The World Curling Federation historical records rank Sundgren as one of the most successful curlers of all time, both in the medals that he has received and his lifetime performance in individual championships. He is one of only three curlers in history to have won both the Olympic Gold medal and five World Championship gold medals. In 2022, he surpassed the previous record holders for World Men's Curling Championship medals, winning his fifth gold medal, in addition to his and European Men's Curling Championship, placing him third of all time on both lists behind his teammates Edin and Oskar Eriksson. He also has reached twenty-seven playoffs at Grand Slam of Curling events, including winning three Grand Slam tournaments and the Pinty's Cup as part of Team Niklas Edin, the first non-Canadian men's team to do so. In 2017, Sundgren and his teammates also became the first men's team in history to win four consecutive European Men's Curling Championships, and in 2021, he and his teammates became the first men's team in history to win four consecutive World Men's Curling Championships.
The Champions Cup is a Canadian curling tournament. Part of the Grand Slam of Curling (GSoC) and the World Curling Tour, it is the sixth GSoC event on the women's tour and the seventh on the men's tour.

Jennifer "Jenn" Dodds is a Scottish curler. She plays second on Team Eve Muirhead and mixed doubles with Bruce Mouat, representing Scotland and Great Britain. She is the 2022 Olympic champion in women's curling, and World champion in mixed doubles curling from 2021.
Melanie Barbezat is a Swiss retired curler from Zollikofen. She represented Switzerland at the 2018 European Curling Championships and 2019 World Women's Curling Championship, winning the latter.
