Basma Azouar (born 16 March 1983) is the Algerian Minister of Relations with Parliament. She was appointed as minister on 7 July 2021. [1] [2] [3]
Azouar holds a Bachelor in Legal and Administrative Sciences,a Diploma of Advanced Studies and a Master in Human Rights. [1]

The Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) is,in principle,the highest-ranking and senior most uniformed military officer,typically at four-star rank,in the Pakistan Armed Forces who serves as a principal staff officer (PSO) and a chief military adviser to the civilian government led by elected prime minister of Pakistan and the National Security Council. In July 2001,President Abdelaziz Bouteflika became the first Algerian President to visit the White House since 1985. This visit,followed by a second meeting in November 2001,and President Bouteflika's participation at the June 2004 G8 Sea Island Summit,is indicative of the growing relationship between the United States and Algeria. Since the September 11 attacks in the United States,contacts in key areas of mutual concern,including law enforcement and counter-terrorism cooperation,have intensified. Algeria publicly condemned the terrorist attacks on the United States and has been strongly supportive of the Global War on Terrorism. The United States and Algeria consult closely on key international and regional issues. The pace and scope of senior-level visits has accelerated.
Algeria and China have traditionally strong relations,celebrating the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2018. In 2010,relations were considered the strongest of all Arab-Chinese relations behind Sudanese-Chinese relations. While relations are firmly grounded in commercial ties,diplomatic relations have notably extended into socio-cultural and political spheres.
The Council of Ministers is an Algerian government body established by the Algerian Constitution to discuss and adopt some of the main acts of executive power,such as the tabling of government bills or the appointment of senior officials. It is chaired by the President of the Republic and brings together the Prime Minister,all full-service ministers and,depending on the government,all or some of the lower-ranking ministers. Only a very summary report of the meetings being published,it is also supposed to allow the ministers to freely discuss the policy of the Government. It traditionally meets at El Mouradia Palace,the official residence of the President,although it can be summoned anywhere and at any time by the President.

During the Syrian conflict,Algeria was one of the few Arab countries that maintained close ties with the Government of Syria under Bashar al-Assad,and has defended Syria within the Arab League.
