He was previously a member of The Suicide Machines, Telegraph, Gyga, Thoughts of Ionesco, Remainder, Walls of Jericho, The Exceptions and Broken Spoke. In addition to playing the drums, Grant is a guitarist and vocalist, and has filled in as guitarist for both Face to Face (1998) and The Gaslight Anthem.
Anekdoten is a Swedish progressive rock band, composed of guitarist/vocalist Nicklas Barker, cellist/keyboardist Anna Sofi Dahlberg, bassist/vocalist Jan Erik Liljeström and drummer Peter Nordins. They are notable for the use of the mellotron and their heavy sound dominated by a pounding bass guitar. Their music is associated with the tradition of 1970s progressive rock music, especially that of King Crimson. Since 2015 former The Church guitarist Marty Willson-Piper has been touring with the band.

After releasing an EP in January 2010, the band went into the studio in late 2010 to work on their next album titled, Every Waking Moment, which was released on Equal Vision Records on November 8, 2011. As of July 13, 2012, the band had split up.

I Set My Friends on Fire is a post-hardcore band from Miami, Florida. The band was formed in 2007 by Matt Mehana and Nabil Moo. The group signed with Epitaph Records before releasing their debut album, You Can't Spell Slaughter Without Laughter, in 2008. Drummer Chris Lent joined the band in 2009. The group's second album, Astral Rejection, was scheduled to be released on June 22, 2010, but it was shelved for a year by Epitaph. Moo left the band in 2010, then Lent left the band. The group's third album, Caterpillar Sex, was announced in 2013 but has never seen a release.

At the Throne of Judgment is an American deathcore band from Lebanon, Ohio, United States. The band formed in 2005, signing a deal with Rise Records the following year and released a full-length album titled The Arcanum Order in 2007 before disestablishing the same year. Following the band's break-up, they had a short reunion from 2008 to 2009 and even had plans to record a follow-up album titled Twilight Kings but disbanded again before its completion.
