Bawali is a census town within the jurisdiction of the Nodakhali police station in the Budge Budge II CD block in the Alipore Sadar subdivision of the South 24 Parganas district in the Indian state of West Bengal.
Nabaneeta Dev Sen was an Indian writer and academic. After studying arts and comparative literature, she moved to the US where she studied further. She returned to India and taught at several universities and institutes as well as serving in various positions in literary institutes. She published more than 80 books in Bengali: poetry, novels, short stories, plays, literary criticism, personal essays, travelogues, humour writing, translations and children's literature. She was awarded the Padma Shri in 2000 and the Sahitya Akademi Award in 1999.
Prosenjit Chatterjee is an Indian actor and producer. He is widely regarded as one of the leading actors in modern Bengali cinema. He predominantly works in Bengali cinema. He is the son of veteran Bollywood actor Biswajit Chatterjee. He began his acting career as a child actor in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Chotto Jigyasa, for which he won the Bengal Film Journalists' Association – Most Outstanding Work of the Year Award. Paglu 2 is a 2012 Indian Bengali romantic action comedy film directed by Sujit Mondal starring Dev and Koel Mallick in lead roles. This is the sequel to the Paglu series but storywise not a sequel of Paglu. A major portion of this movie has been shot in Dubai. This film is a remake of 2011 Telugu film Kandireega, directed by Santosh Srinivas and starring Ram and Hansika Motwani, which was remade in 2014 as Main Tera Hero starring Varun Dhawan, Ileana D'Cruz, Nargis Fakhri.
