Bednidhi Poudel (born 12 March 1973) is a Nepali singer and musician. He is known for his composition having spiritual essence with the blended flavor of eastern classical and western music. [1] [2]
Bednidhi Poudel’s affection with music began at a very tender age in Itahari. He got his talent crafted further under various maestros such as Gopalnath Yogi, Bhola Rai, and Kusheswor Rai, Poudel has also obtained diploma in music from Sur Sangam Bidhyalaya of Allahabad in India. [3]
Poudel, an ardent fan of Narayan Gopal and Mehdi Hassan released his first album Chhadke Nazar in 1999. The album consists of Aaja Yo Andhyarole (lyrics – Suman Pokhrel), Nashalu Raat (lyrics – himself), Nazarke Uthayethen (lyrics – Mahesh Marseli) and three other songs [4] After listening to the song Aaja Yo Andhyarole in Poudel's vocal and composition, Nepali theater maestro Sunil Pokharel organized his solo performance at Gurukul Theater in Kathmandu. He performed his solo at Gurukul Theater in June 2011 rendering songs of different genres, including ghazals and Nepali modern songs. [5]
The Kathmandu Post writs about poudel as, "Paudel sang songs of different genres, including ghazals and Nepali aadhunik songs during the show. "This is my first solo performance in the capital and I am happy to be presented by Gurukul," says Paudel. The singer sang to the tunes of the guitar and the Tabala accompanied by the notes of the harmonium which he played by himself. Though this lack of an orchestra affected the quality of the performance, the singer managed to wow most audiences with the beautifully composed melody of his songs. Paudel has been trained by music maestros Gopal Nath Yogi and other acclaimed Gurus of the country. "In addition to the formal education that I got from my Gurus, my self-practice and study have helped shape my skills in composing music and singing songs," he adds. Although Paudel has plans on working on a solo music album, the bleak scenario of album-sales—which is really low—in Nepal discourages him. Despite this, he is working on the arrangement and recording of four of his original compositions." [6]

Music of Nepal refers to the various musical genres played and listened to in Nepal. With more than fifty ethnic groups in Nepal, the country's music is highly diverse. Genres like Tamang Selo, Chyabrung, Dohori, Adhunik Geet, Bhajan, Filmi music, Ghazal, Classical music, songs and Ratna music are widely played and popular, but many other less common genres are yet to be cataloged. Western musical genres like Rock, Metal, Hip-Hop, Rap, R&B also regularly feature on the Nepalese music charts. Most of the country's musical bands are based in the Kathmandu valley. Musical genres from Tibet and India have greatly influenced Nepalese music.
Narayan Gopal Guruacharya(Nepali: नारायणगोपाल गुरुआचार्य), known professionally as Narayan Gopal and N. Gopal was a prominent popular singer and composer of Nepali music. Regarded one of the most significant cultural icons in Nepal, he is referred as "Swar Samrat" in Nepal. Deepak Limbu : is a playback singer and winner of the first season of Nepali Tara of Nepal. He has done playback singing for more than one thousand nepali songs. He performed on a worldwide tour and won several musical awards from 2005-2016. Deepak is also one artist among 365 in a Melancholy Song which set in Guinness World Records in entitled "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording", is written, music composed and directed by Environmentalist Nipesh DHAKA.
The Nepal humanitarian crisis (2015-2017) developed owing to a lack of action following the April 2015 Nepal earthquake and its aftershocks. It was compounded by political factors as a result of the 2015 Nepal blockade. Victims of the earthquakes were still living in flimsy, temporary shelters more than a year after the initial devastation. Kshetra Pratap Adhikary was a Nepali poet, writer and lyricist. Adhikari is best known as the lyricist of the song Ma Ta Laligurans Bhayechu by Narayan Gopal. Renowned singers of both the past and present generations, including Narayan Gopal, Bacchu Kailash, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Yogeshwar Amatya, Satya Raj Acharya, Kunti Moktan and Swaroop Raj Acharya have lent their voices to Adhikari's songs. Nepal Literature Festival is an annual international literary festival which takes place in Pokhara, Nepal. It was founded in 2011 by Bookworm Foundation, a not-for-profit organization. IME Group is the current title sponsor of the festival.

The Second Oli cabinet was the Government of Nepal from 15 February 2018 to 13 July 2021. It was initially formed as a majority coalition on 15 February 2018, after Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli was elected as the new Prime Minister of Nepal following the 2017 general election. Sajjan Raj Vaidya is a Nepalese singer, songwriter, guitarist, composer and producer based on New York City. He released his debut single, "Aaja Matra", in 2014 and rose to prominence after the release of his singles "Hawaijahaj" (2016) and "Chitthi Bhitra" (2018). One of his most widely known singles is "Hataarindai, Bataasindai". His release, titled "BLYHL", was released in February 2020. Bulbul is a 2019 Nepalese film that Binod Poudel directed and wrote. Abeeral Thapa, Bhim Thapa, Raju Paudel, and Purushottam Pandey produced the film under the banner of Awaken Production. The film stars Swastima Khadka, and Mukun Bhusal in the lead roles. The story line is about a woman who drives tempo for a living in Kathmandu. The film was released on 15 February 2019. It was selected as the Nepalese entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 92nd Academy Awards, but it was not nominated.
Pashupati Sharma is a Nepalese folk singer born on 31 October 1982 in Putalibazar Municipality Ward Number 3 of Syangja District, Nepal. Sharma moved to Kathmandu on 2003 for his further studies, as he was interested in singing. He started singing in Saptakoshi Dohori Sanjh and released his first official song on 2003. Sharma has already sung more than 200 songs during his career. His songs revolves around patriotism, love and satire. One of his latest satire song Lutna Sake Lut was recently forced to remove from YouTube. He is the living legend of folk music industry of Nepal. In 2018 he released song "Chhata harayo" with Devi Gharti Magar. Ni next he is going to collab new song with Roshan Regmi from nawalpur in 2079 baisakh.
