News of the World is the sixth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 28 October 1977 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. News of the World was the band's second album to be recorded at Sarm and Wessex Sound Studios in London, and engineered by Mike Stone, and was co-produced by the band and Stone.

Fourth Of July was an indie rock band from Lawrence, Kansas. Frontman Brendan Hangauer began writing eventual Fourth of July songs as early as 1999—initially with a solo project in mind—but the band came together and began performing live in 2002. They are currently with Range Life Records. The band consists of Brendan Hangauer, Patrick Hangauer (bass), Kelly Hangauer, Brian Costello (drums), Brendan Costello (guitar). Some of their early marketing push came through posting their videos on YouTube.

Paul Young is the seventh solo studio album by English singer Paul Young, released in May 1997 on East West Records. This was Young's last album made up of original material, until his 2023 album, Behind the Lens. It displays a stronger country influence than his previous albums and saw significantly more songwriting input from Young than on his previous albums, with eight of the twelve tracks being co-written by him. The album and lead single "I Wish You Love" both charted inside the UK top 40.
