The Belgian National Badminton League, also known as Victor League (sponsored by Victor), is the top interclub competition in Belgian badminton. There are 2 national divisions organized by the Belgian Badminton Federation. All other divisions are organized per region. The competition format was restyled during the season 2007–2008.

Both national divisions consist of 8 participating clubs. These participate in 7 qualification weekends. After these qualifications, the top 4 teams will play the play-offs for the title. The bottom 4 teams will compete each other in the play-downs to maintain their position in the league.
During each match, 8 confrontations are played: 1 Men's doubles, 1 Women's doubles, 2 Men's Singles, 2 Women's Singles and 2 Mixed Doubles.

The Belgian First Division A is the top league competition for association football clubs in Belgium. Following the 2015–16 season it was renamed from the Belgian Pro League (officially known as Jupiler Pro League. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Belgian First Division B. Seasons run from late July to early May, with teams playing 30 matches each in the regular season, and then entering play-offs 1 or play-offs 2 according to their position in the regular season. Play-offs 1 are contested by the top 6 clubs in the regular season, with each club playing each other twice. Play-offs 2 are contested by teams ranked 7 to 15 in the regular season, divided in two groups of 6 teams playing each other twice. The team finishing in 16th place is relegated. The National Badminton League (NBL) was a professional team badminton league in England. Organised by Badminton England, it was launched in October 2014 as the first ever national badminton league in the UK. Reaching seven franchise teams in its third and final season (16-17), the inaugural season launched with six teams. Team matches were played with an abbreviated scoring system across all five disciplines and tie–break format, with one match each match night being broadcast live on Sky Sports in the first two seasons. The XIII 2018 Oceania Badminton Championships is the continental badminton championships in Oceania sanctioned by the Badminton Oceania, and Badminton World Federation. This championship is organized by Badminton New Zealand, and will be the 13th edition of the Oceania Badminton Championships. It is being held in Hamilton, New Zealand from 6 to 11 February 2018. The team event will start in 6 February, and will be the qualification stage for the 2018 Thomas & Uber Cup finals to be played in Thailand, while the individual event will start in February 8.
