Simon Phillip Cowell is an English television personality, entrepreneur, and record executive. He has judged on the British television talent competition shows Pop Idol (2001–2003), The X Factor UK, and Britain's Got Talent (2007–present), as well as the American television talent competition shows American Idol (2002–2010), The X Factor US (2011–2013), and America's Got Talent (2016–present). Cowell founded the British entertainment company Syco in 2005, as well as its now-defunct predecessor, Syco Music in 2002.
America's Got Talent is a televised American talent show competition, and is part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. The program is produced by Fremantle USA and Syco Entertainment, and broadcasts on the NBC television network. It premiered on June 21, 2006, after plans for a British edition in 2005 were suspended, following a dispute within the British broadcaster ITV. Production would later resume in 2007, following the success of the first season. The season went into production a year earlier than planned by Got Talent creator Simon Cowell. Cowell intended for Britain's Got Talent to debut before AGT in 2006. However, production was suspended due to internal conflicts within its British television network. David Hasselhoff, Brandy Norwood and Piers Morgan were the show's first judges, with Regis Philbin as host. This season originally had an early format for live round judging and Wildcard acts, which would be changed after the season's conclusion.

The 2009 series of Norske Talenter was the first series of this television programme. It began airing on TV 2 February 13, 2009 with audition in Bergen, and the live final was held May 8, 2009. The winners this season were the hip hop dance crew Quick Style at the ages 17–18. The runner-up was 14-year-old classical singer Lydia Hoen Tjore and 6-year old magician Brian Aksnes Hoseth finished in third place.

The show featured singers, dancers, magicians, comedians and other variety performers of all ages competing for a top prize of $100,000 cash and a Toyota RAV4 car. Three judges appear on the show each week to provide feedback for the contestants.
India's Got Talent is a televised Indian Hindi language talent show series and is part of the Got Talent franchise. The program is produced and distributed by Fremantle and Syco Entertainment. The show aired on Colors TV until season 8. Since season 9 the show is airing on Sony Entertainment Television.

Norske Talenter is a Norwegian talent show with a similar format to Britain's Got Talent, making it one of the Got Talent franchise programmes. The 16-year-old singer Erlend Bratland won the first series and Quick Style, a hip hop dance group, won the second series. The judges were music producer Jan Fredrik Karlsen, singer and actress Mia Gundersen and comedian/actor Thomas Giertsen. In 2008 Marte Stokstad and Sturla Berg-Johansen were hosts, and in 2009, Pia Lykke joined Berg-Johansen to be hosts.
Ellada Eheis Talento is a Greek reality television series and is part of the Got Talent multinational franchise. It premiered in Greece for the first time on 23 March 2007 and ended after 4 seasons on 25 June 2012 on the ANT1. On 1 October 2017 the show came back with the fifth season and for the first time from Skai TV, ended after 2 seasons on 16 December 2018. On 8 January 2022 the show returned again on ANT1.
Das Supertalent is a German talent show, part of the internationally successful Got Talent franchise, presented by Victoria Swarovski and Knossi. Just like in all other versions of the franchise, auditions take place and the judges review their talent and then later the home audience votes in an election to deem who wins. The show debuted in March 2011. Thailand is also the fifth country in Asia to license Got Talent series. The four judges Pongsak Rattanaphong, Cris Horwang, Jennifer Kim and Yuhtlerd Sippapak join hosts Ketsepsawat Palagawongse na Ayutthaya.
Ukrayina maye talant is a Ukrainian reality television series on the STB television network, and part of the global British Got Talent series. It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, sketch artists, comedians, and other performers of all ages competing for the advertised top prize of ₴1,000,000. The show debuted in April 2009. The three judges Vladyslav Yama, Slava Frolova and Ihor Kondratiuk joined host Oksana Marchenko. Contestants Kseniya Simonova and Anastasia Sokolova were revealed by this show. The show is now in its sixth season with two new judges: Hector Jimenez-Bravo and Viacheslav Uzelkov.
New Zealand's Got Talent was a New Zealand reality television show, based on the original UK series, to find new talent. The third and final series began airing on TV One from 15 September 2013. Host Tāmati Coffey returned to the show, along with judges Jason Kerrison and Rachel Hunter and key sponsor Toyota New Zealand. Cris Judd also joined the judging panel, replacing Ali Campbell. The series screened at 7.30pm on Sunday evenings.
Asia's Got Talent is a televised Asian talent show competition, and part of the global Got Talent franchise created by Simon Cowell. Produced and aired by AXN Asia, it was created in the wake of the successes of both America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent, and premiered on March 12, 2015, across 15 countries in Asia. For each season, a contestants of any age can audition for the televised contest with whatever talent they wish to demonstrate, with the winner receiving a prize of $100,000.
Got Talent España, is the Spanish version of the international Got Talent series. It is hosted by Santi Millán and broadcast on Spanish Telecinco channel. The idea behind the programme is to search for the most talented and promising entertainment. The series premiered on 13 February 2016. The new show is a continuation of an original series Tienes Talento that had seen one season starting 25 January 2008 on Cuatro, hosted by Nuria Roca and Eduardo Aldán and was discontinued after one season. On 15 June 2015, Mediaset España announced the revival of the series for the group's main channel Telecinco. The judges were Edurne, Eva Hache, Jesús Vázquez, and Jorge Javier Vázquez.
The tenth series of the British talent competition programme Britain's Got Talent was broadcast on ITV, from 9 April to 28 May 2016. To celebrate ten series of the show, the final featured a special performance entitled "Best of Britain’s Got Talent", which featured several participants who had appeared on the show during the previous nine series, including Ashleigh and Pudsey, Attraction, Diversity, Jon Clegg, Stavros Flatley, Collabro and Spelbound. It was the last series to have its live episodes broadcast at The Fountain Studios before the site's closure that year.

This series became the first to see the return of Ant McPartlin to his television duties, hosting alongside Dec Donnelly, following his absence the previous year to attend rehabilitation prior to the start of the previous series' live episodes. Alongside McPartlin's return, the competition for this year saw the oldest participant to win Britain's Got Talent, and the surprise return of a performer who participated in a previous year's contest, operating under an alias until their final appearance.

It is a talent show that features singers, dancers, magicians, comedians, and other performers of all ages competing for a prize. It has been broadcasting since 2014 and is now reaching its sixth season. The talent show was listed in The Myanmar Times "Top 10 Myanmar TV Shows" in 2019.
