Belkis Leal (born 21 May 1940) is a Venezuelan fencer. She competed in the women's individual and team foil events at the 1960 Summer Olympics. [1]

Belkis Ayón was a Cuban printmaker who specialized in the technique of collography. Ayón created large, highly detailed allegorical collagraphs based on Abakuá, a secret, all-male Afro-Cuban society. Her work is often in black and white, consisting of ghost-white figures with oblong heads and empty, almond-shaped eyes, set against dark, patterned backgrounds.

Belkıs Tombolo is a tombolo in Marmara Sea of Turkey. It is in Balıkesir Province. At 40°22′N27°53′E the tombolo connects Kapıdağ Peninsula to main land (Anatolia). The width of the tombolo is 1,700 metres (5,600 ft) and the length is 1,500 metres (4,900 ft). Bandırma Gulf is to the east and Erdek Gulf is to the west of the tombolo. The eastern shore is covered by sand dunes and the western shore is a sandy beach. The midpoint of the tombolo is a marshland. There are two highways across the tombolo from Bandırma in the mainland to the peninsula; One to the eastern coast and one to the western coast and Erdek.

Belkıs Şevket or Belkıs Şevket Hanım, was the first Turkish woman to fly, on December 1, 1913. She was also an activist. Her grandfather was one of the viziers of Ali Namık Pasha. She was the daughter of Şevket Bey who was the son of Ata Pasha or according to other sources she was the daughter of Ata Pasha. Belkıs Şevket Hanım was also a child trainer, music teacher, and writer. She also knew the English language very well.
