Ben Carey is an Australian guitarist born on 10 January 1975 in Warburton, Victoria, Australia. He played with bands such as Savage Garden, Tal Bachman, and Lifehouse. He also performed with Elvis Monroe with members from bands like Matchbox Twenty. [1] [2]
From 1998 to 2000 Carey joined Savage Garden on their Affirmation World Tour as band guitarist, performing "I Knew I Loved You", "Affirmation", "Crash & Burn", and other songs.
For a short period of time, he played in the band Tal Bachman and is featured in the video for the hit single "She's So High".
In 2004, Carey joined Lifehouse after the departure of Sean Woolstenhulme, brother of drummer Rick Woolstenhulme, Jr. In 2009, Lifehouse announced that Carey was an official member, stating he was "family to us". [3] He featured in the band's videos "Broken", "Halfway Gone", "All In" and "Between the Raindrops" in 2012. In December 2014, the band announced that Carey would leave to focus on other projects, such as his band Elvis Monroe. [4]
Elvis Monroe released one single; "Blue Collar Man", which was the theme song for season 3 of TV show "Vegas Rat Rods".
Randolph Charles Bachman is a Canadian guitarist, singer, and songwriter. He was a founding member of the bands The Guess Who and Bachman–Turner Overdrive. Bachman recorded as a solo artist and was part of a number of short-lived bands such as Brave Belt, Union and Ironhorse. He was a national radio personality on CBC Radio, hosting the weekly music show, Vinyl Tap. Bachman was inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum in 2016.

It was produced by American record producer Ron Aniello and was mixed by Brendan O'Brien. Musically, "Hanging by a Moment" is a post-grunge song that contains influences of alternative rock.

Almería is the sixth studio album by American alternative rock band Lifehouse, released on December 11, 2012 by Geffen Records. The title refers to the Spanish city of Almería, where many classic western films were filmed. The album was produced by Jude Cole, who has worked with Lifehouse on previous albums. The lead single off the album was released in September, and is titled "Between the Raindrops", a duet with British pop singer Natasha Bedingfield.
