Ben Nowland (born May 27, 1980) is a former American football offensive lineman.
He attended Allen D. Nease Senior High School in Ponte Vedra, Florida and was a student and a letterman in football, wrestling, and track & field. In football, he was a three-year starter. In wrestling, he won a Regional Championship as a senior. In track&field, he was a Regional Champion in the shot put and the discus.
Nowland played collegiately with Auburn. Nowland was a first-team All SEC center in 2002. [1] He was a top 10 finisher for the Rimington Award which is presented to the Nations best center. Nowland participated in the 2003 Senior Bowl in Mobile, AL. and was awarded with their Sportsmanship Award for the event. Nowland started 35 games in his career at Auburn. Nowland is married to his college girlfriend Hillary, who now works for Auburn. [1] Nowland was in the Walt Disney film "The Game Plan" starring Dewayne "The Rock" Johnson.[ citation needed ]
He entered the National Football League by signing as an undrafted free agent with the San Francisco 49ers in 2003. Waived by the 49ers in August of that year, he was signed to the Washington Redskins' practice squad where he stayed through the 2004 season. In 2003 and 2004 Nowland spent time with the Frankfurt Galaxy in NFL Europa. In 2005, he was signed by the Denver Broncos. He began his AFL career with the Georgia Force in 2005. He joined the Rampage in 2006, but re-signed with the Georgia Force during the 2007 offseason. Nowland retired from football in 2009 and now works as a sales representative. [ citation needed ]

He was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals with the 13th overall pick in the 1998 NFL draft. A two-time Pro Bowl selection and one-time All-Pro, Spikes also played for the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, and San Diego Chargers.

Theodore Washington Jr. is an American former professional football player who was a nose tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Louisville Cardinals and was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 1991 NFL draft. He also played for the Denver Broncos, Buffalo Bills, Chicago Bears, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, and Cleveland Browns before retiring after the 2007 season. Washington was selected to four Pro Bowls in his career and with the Patriots, he won Super Bowl XXXVIII over the Carolina Panthers. At 6'5" and more than 375 pounds in his prime, he was described as "the prototypical [3-4] nose tackle of this era." His gargantuan frame earned him nicknames like "Mt. Washington" or "Washington Monument". Also notable for his longevity, Washington was a starting nose tackle, one of the most physically demanding positions in football, until the age of 39.
Patrick Fain Dye was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at East Carolina University (1974–1979), the University of Wyoming (1980), and Auburn University (1981–1992) compiling a career college football record of 153–62–5. While the head coach at Auburn, he led the team to four Southeastern Conference (SEC) championships and was named the SEC Coach of the Year three times. He served as the athletic director at Auburn from 1981 to 1991 and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2005. On November 19, 2005, the playing field at Auburn's Jordan-Hare Stadium was named "Pat Dye Field" in his honor.
