Bennett Creek (Missouri)

Bennett Creek is a stream in northwest Wayne County in the U.S. state of Missouri. [1] It is a tributary of the St. Francis River.

The stream headwaters arise at 37°15′04″N90°23′51″W / 37.25111°N 90.39750°W / 37.25111; -90.39750 and it flows generally west to its confluence with the St. Francis at 37°15′12″N90°27′42″W / 37.25333°N 90.46167°W / 37.25333; -90.46167 . Just east of the confluence the stream crosses under US Route 67 on the south edge of the community of Lodi. [1] [2]

Bennett Creek has the name of Larkin Bennett, an early settler. [3]

Just southwest of Iron Mountain the streamcourse veers northwest and re-enters Iron County to its confluence with the St. Francis.
