Bent Sea is a Belgian American grindcore band formed in January 2011 by drummer Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth, Soilwork, Scarve). After writing and recording a number of songs, Verbeuren (guitar, drums) enlisted vocalist Sven de Caluwe of Belgian death metal band Aborted (vocals) and multi-instrumentalist Devin Townsend (bass) for the Townsend-produced debut EP Noistalgia which was released as a digital download on November 11, 2011, and later on cassette format by Tankcrimes. In 2012, bass player Shane Embury (Napalm Death, Brujeria, Venomous Concept, Lock Up) replaced Townsend. The trio recorded a batch of new songs written and produced by Verbeuren. The first of these recordings, "Partners In Grind" appeared on Double Penetration, a free digital split single with Swedish death metal act Torture Division. [2] Animalist/Usurpress, an split EP with Swedish death/crust act Usurpress saw the light of day in early 2014 on CD via SelfMadeGod Records [3] and on 10 inch vinyl via Doomentia Records. [4] Ascend/Descend, a split EP entitled with Cleveland grindcore band To Dust was released in July 2016 on 12 inch vinyl by Give Praise Records. [5]

Guitarist Sylvain Coudret (Soilwork, Scarve) recorded guest leads on the songs "Dead Meat" (Noistalgia), "Fashion Victims" (Animalist), "To The Extreme" and "Gluttonous Death" (Ascend).

Agoraphobic Nosebleed is an American grindcore band. Its line-up has changed often over the years, with guitarist and drum programmer Scott Hull being the only continuous member. The current line-up includes vocalist Jay Randall, and Richard Johnson of Enemy Soil and Drugs of Faith, along with John Jarvis of Pig Destroyer and Fulgora on bass guitar.

Mentally Murdered is an EP by the English grindcore band Napalm Death, released in 1989. It was later included on the Harmony Corruption CD and the Death by Manipulation compilation album. On this EP the band's migration to death metal territory is more readily evident than on its previous album. It is the final studio recording with Bill Steer and Lee Dorrian, who simultaneously departed the band due to musical and personality differences.

Diatribes is the sixth studio album by English grindcore band Napalm Death, originally released on 22 January 1996 on Earache Records. It was released as double 10" vinyl, regular CD, special digipak CD with space for the Greed Killing EP and MC. In 2010, Earache issued a re-release of Diatribes in a box set that also included the Greed Killing EP and the live album Bootlegged in Japan.

Sworn to a Great Divide is the seventh studio album by Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork. The album was released on 19 October 2007 for Europe and on 23 October 2007 for the US, both through Nuclear Blast. Everything aside from vocals was recorded at Not Quite Studios in Helsingborg. This is the only album to include Daniel Antonsson on guitar who replaced founding member Peter Wichers after his late 2005 departure. It is also the last album to feature long-time guitarist Ola Frenning who left Soilwork in February 2008.

Peter Wichers is a Swedish guitarist, songwriter and record producer best known as one of the founding members of melodic death metal band Soilwork. Deconstruction is the thirteenth studio album by Canadian musician Devin Townsend, and the third album in the Devin Townsend Project series. The album was released on June 20, 2011, simultaneously with the fourth Devin Townsend Project album Ghost, on Townsend's independent record label HevyDevy Records. The album features two drummers, Dirk Verbeuren and Ryan Van Poederooyen, as well as a number of guest vocalists. The album's choral and orchestral parts were written and arranged by Townsend using Pro Tools software. The parts were later transcribed into conventional musical notation for the orchestra.

<i>Beyond the Infinite</i> (EP) 2014 EP by Soilwork

Beyond the Infinite is the second EP by Swedish melodic death metal band Soilwork. It was released by Victor Entertainment on 24 September 2014. It contains five unreleased tracks from The Living Infinite sessions and was mixed and mastered at Fascination Street by Johan Örnborg. This release is for Asia only and no plans have been made to release the EP in current form outside of Asia. The tracks have since been included in the 2016 compilation album Death Resonance.

Sybreed was a Swiss industrial metal band from Geneva. The band was founded in 2003 by vocalist Benjamin Nominet and guitarist Thomas "Drop" Betrisey. Sybreed disbanded in 2013 when Nominet departed from the group.

Blood from the Soul is an industrial metal supergroup formed by Napalm Death bassist Shane Embury. The band's debut album, To Spite the Gland That Breeds (1993), featured Embury with Sick of It All vocalist Lou Koller. In 2020, Embury reformed the band with a new line-up, featuring vocalist Jacob Bannon, drummer Dirk Verbeuren and bassist Jesper Liveröd. The band's sophomore record, DSM-5, was released in the same year.
